"Hello" I answered when I saw Naira calling
"Baby kya Hua, huh?" I heard Naira say.
" hello Naira?" I heard him say and that's when I kept Kiara on speaker she was crying for her dummy but Kartik doesn't know that, I may not be mum of the year but I would never put her in any real danger.
" Naira what's wrong is she ok hello?! He yelled.
" baby mumma hai na, Kiara please stop crying"
"Naira what is going on?" I heard him say and I cut the line.
"That will do it"
I smiled and gave her the dummy, it worked like magic she was happily sucking it. I cradled her because I was feeling bad for making her cry for no reason. I held her in the air and looked at, I kissed her moist cheek and cuddled her.

I heard the line go dead and now I'm worried, it's obvious Naira accidently dialled my number and now I can't get my baby's crying out of my head, my bachha is upset and I don't know why. I rang Naira back but it came as voicemail she didn't answer. Now I'm extremely worried just then dadi came to call me to go downstairs as Vedika's parents have arrived, I told her I will be there in a few minutes..

Are you going to give mumma a burp, kabse I've been rubbing your back baby, I continued to otherwise she will feel sick, finally she did. Accha baccha,I took her off my shoulder, her little face was smiling at me and that's when i saw it, the face Kartik makes when he is being mischievous, I couldn't help but smile.

Baby is sleeping I'm going for a long shower and relaxing I deserve it.
"Padma I'm going for a shower if baby wakes up please handle it" Padma nodded.

I drove fast with worry as awful scenarios played in my head I needed to check even if it meant that everyone at home is annoyed with me I don't care, after an hour I finally reached. I raced to her front door, no answer came now I was getting very worried. I banged hard on the door, finally it opened.
"Hi is madam expecting you?"
I lied and nodded my head I recognised her Kiara's aya, she smiled and let me in looked like she was leaving maybe to hospital where baby is or.. before I could ask she left. I raced upstairs to see my baby but the crib was empty, now I felt scared, i raced downstairs I heard noise like the TV is on, yes it was, and my baby is there thank God! But Naira!
"So madam yaha aaram se fruits khare hai!"

What the hell who let him in and finally he did show up then!
"Keep your voice down Kartik and what are you doing here at this time in my house" I got up putting the fruit bowl down,
" you tell me" he yelled.
" not here" I said pointing to Kiara.
"out there" I said and he nodded I walked passed him and he followed.
She was walking ahead of me she put me through hell!
"Answer me then who let you..?"
I didn't get to complete my sentence because Kartik grabbed me by the shoulders and pinned me to the wall.
