Wow my mehendi came out dark, I said after washing my hands, I didn't want to keep for long, Vedika was sitting in the centre yes it bothered me but there wasn't much I could do about it. Kaira was sleeping in Kartik's room, he had taken her to sleep it's been a few hours, Manish was annoying me he kept pushing Kartik towards that witch. I went up to check on Kaira.
"She is awake?" said mumma as she saw me with Kaira my arms
" yeah, oh by the way beta your mehendi is very dark, Vedika's is very faint" she said to me
I couldn't help but smile and in addition to that mumma told me mehendi got mixed up and shagun ki mehendi is on my hands.
"Really how I mean" I said
"mehendi lady thought you are Kartik's fiance" said mumma, then Suvarna aunty called her to come so I let her go..
" she thought I'm papa's fiance baby?" I said looking at our daughter
"Dont get too happy Mix up hua hai beta, but don't worry my son is with his rightful fiance this is just a silly mistake" said Manish and he looked at Kaira

he went to touch her cheek but I moved his hand
I haven't seen Naira since she arrived, oh no seems all isn't well with her and Mr Goenka I need to see her, but how do i go passed all these irritating people.
"Beta what happened" asked mumma
"Mumma please clean her, I need to change my top I'm smelling of baby sick" I said
I handed her Kaira. I went upstairs on the way I saw people laughing and I just wanted to be out of here.i didn't even want to go upstairs but her things and mine are all in his room. No I won't cry I'm strong, I'm a sherni but then why did papa's words hurt so much, at one point I thought he genuinely wanted me to be a part of his son's life and where is Kartik he hasn't come to me once, not to see me only he took Kaira to sleep, i slipped my dress on. The door opened.
"Why did you get changed?" I asked
" because I'm leaving" I said placing the outfit in a bag
"I didn't get to see you in it" I said stopping her placing the outfit.
"Leave it Kartik!" I snapped
She is annoyed but why..
"Kaira was sick on it it's ruined, everything is!" she said walking away from me
"What did he say to you, I know it's something I saw from across the room" he said, he held my hand.
"your mehendi it's beautiful so dark" he smiled and kissed my palm, I took my hand away.
Come on Naira why are you blaming Kartik for his dad's mistake, you love him don't punish him.
She wants to leave but I haven't even seen her properly!
"No, you don't!" I said taking control of the situation
I made her drop the bag and pulled her by the hand asking her what happened.
He kept asking me but I didn't want to tell him, it would hurt what he said about Kaira.
"Go back downstairs people will start looking for you" I said to him
