Watching Bella in pain was excruciating as well as knowing that all I could do was calm her but not stop her screaming or writhing in pain. However I was glad in a way that she was screaming as it was only reminder that she is alive. I decided to go hunt and I asked Rosalie to come with me.
" Jasper?"asked Rose.
"Yes,"I asked.
"How do you do it,"asked Rose.
"Do what,"I asked.
"Change Bella,"she answered.
"Well I guess I hunted and maybe the fact that she is my mate made it easier,"I said.
"Okay,"said Rosalie.
After the conversation we raced off, drain a few deer then raced back home. When we were back home I went to see Bella and she wasn't any different from when I last saw her. Still screaming. Still writhing. Still in pain. I needed to feel her warmth so I held her hand. I found that she calmed at my touch so we sat like that for the remainder of her transformation. On the third day I heard Bella's heart spluttering it's last beats so I called everyone into the room. A couple of minutes later she opened her eyes.
