Chapter 4-Mates

After school I picked up Bella from her house as she had to drop off her truck. When we got to mine everyone was waiting to meet her in the living room. We sat down with them.
"Ok so introductions first then we will tell you what we need to,"I said.
"Ok,"said Bella.
"This is Esme and Carlisle who are our parent figures,"I said pointing to Carlisle and Esme.
"Hello Bella," said Carlisle and Esme.
"Hi Carlisle, hi Esme," said Bella.
"This is Alice, Edward, Rosalie and Emmet,"I said introducing my adopted siblings.
"Hi everyone,"said Bella.
"Hi," said everyone but Edward and I could sense a lot of lust radiating off him.

"Ok now introductions are over we need to show you something first then we will explain,"I said "Alice?"
"It will be fine however you do it," said Alice. Here goes nothing. I nodded at us siblings and we each did what I had instructed. I whizzed around the room at vampire speed, Alice picked up a sofa with one had, Rosalie beckoned Bella outside so she could show her that we sparkle in the sunlight and Emmet broke a rock. Bella was shocked.
"W... what are you?"asked Bella. I looked around.
"We are vampires and before you worry we only drink animal blood not human blood," Esme answered. She relaxed and surprisingly wasn't scared.
"Bella, there is something else that we need to tell you,"I said.
"What?"asked Bella.
"You are my mate,"I explained.
Then we explained about mating, the mated pairs, about immortality and our history and stories. Some stories were sadder or longer than others. Finally we explained the Volturi.
"What's the matter with Edward?"asked Bella.
"You are Edwards singer which means that your scent, your blood is so appealing to him that he would drink you now if his control wasn't so good and he wasn't scared about my past coming back to get him,"I answered.
"Ok," said Bella.
"Bella if you don't mind we have another question,"said Carlisle.
"I don't mind,"Bella said.
"Ok so considering the laws as well as the Volturi we need to ask would you like to join us in immortality and be part of our family as Jasper's mate?"asked Carlisle.
"Can I think about it?"she asked.
"Yes darlin' but don't take to long,"I said.
"Ok,"she replied.

A/N: Next chapter is a classic from new moon and it is the party but as you can guess it has a slight twist.
