I head to my first class hoping for the best. Maybe even Colby will be in it. At least I've made a friend if that's what you want to call it so far. I walk into English. All eyes darted to me. A heavy feeling took over me and I instantly became shy. I scanned the room for Colby but didn't see him.
"Take a seat" the teacher said through gritted teeth.
"Sorry" I mumbled.
I sat in the empty seat next to a kid with light blond hair and crystal blue eyes. He nervously shifted his eyes towards me.
"Y/n" I whisper to the kid.
I've never seen a person so shocked to have someone talk to them.
"S-Sam" he stutters.
It sounded familiar. I shrugged it of, there's probably 30 Sams in this school.
"Okay go find your partners!" The teacher slammed a book shut.
I jerked up from my desk. I wasn't paying attention at all. Well let's hope Sam did.
"Hey Sam-" I start but get cut off. Jeez I'm always getting cut off. "New girl, come be my partner" I look over and see the same guy I encountered in the hall with Colby.
"I was gunna ask Sam" I tell him.
"Why would you wanna be partners with a geek?" He sounded offended.
"He seems nice" I smile.
"What are you implying?" The offended tone came out again.
"Y/n just be partners with him, it'll do you better than being partners with me" Sam looked down.
"No, I want to be partners with you, don't let this asshole get to you" I point to the douche.
"I'd watch what you say on your first day, I can make your life hell" he smirked.
"Have fun with that" I smile.
I turn to Sam, my smile never fading.
"Let's get started"
Finally. Lunch. I haven't had Colby in any of my morning classes. Sucked ass but what can you do.
I make my way out to the bleachers with the map in my hands.
Colby wasn't there yet so I just sit down and wait.
A little later Colby comes out with another person.
When they get closer I notice that it's Sam from English.
"Hey guys!" I smile.
"Y/n? You know Colby" Sam asked.
"You know y/n?" Colby asked Sam.
"Well I met Colby at the start of the day, and Sam during Language" i tell them.
"Wow that's weird" Sam says.
We all sit and eat while I tell them about myself. Colby's eyes never left mine while I talked. I usually stumbled on my words, I would get lost in his eyes.
"AY new girl" someone shouted from the field.
I look down and see the same guy from this morning. I groan and contemplate going over there. I sigh and get up. Sam and Colby both give me a look, saying 'just stay here'.
I make my way over to the guy that I didn't even know his name.
"I have a name, you know that right?" I cross my arms.
"Then whats your name" he raised an eyebrow.
"Y/n" i tuck my hair behind my ears.
"Hm, pretty name for a pretty girl" he smirked.
I rolled my eyes.
"Austin," he tells me. "I was wondering if you'd like to stay after school to watch my football practice" he holds onto his bag.
"I don't know about that, you're pretty rude to my friends" I motion up to Sam and Colby.
"Those are your friends?," He said shocked. "I think you should stay with me and my friends" he grabs my hand.
I yank it away from him.
"Come on baby" he pressed himself against me and leaned in or a kiss.
I shoved his chest and made a disgusted face.
"Do you not know what respect is?! You're disgusting" I yell at him and walk back this Sam and Colby.
"Just you wait, you'll be my girlfriend. Trust me" he shouted.
I rolled my eyes.
