Cece: How was the food? 

Kayleb: It was okay. Nothing special.

Cece: Well I hope you're satisfied. Anyway... now that you've both finished eating, lets continue where we left off. 

Kay: Okay.

Cece: Now... we're really supposed to be talking about this later with Genny, but it won't hurt to let you guys know early. So, Genny and I were discussing last night that we would allow you two and your family to live here on earth peacefully like normal citizens. Under our supervision of course, but you'll be able to go to school and do other normal kid things! That is if you accept the offer.

Kay: Really?!

Cece: Yea! Now I can't tell you everything just yet, so use this information as a little insight on what's to come later today.

Jake: That sounds good!

Cece: Good!

Jake and Kayleb look at each other and they start to smile.

Cece: Okay boys! Lets start heading back.

Kay: Wait! Before we go, would it be okay if we bring some food back for Lilli?

Cece: Sure!

Kayleb quickly gathers food for Lilli and makes his way back to Jake and Cece.

 They return back to their room and as they enter, they see Lilli sitting up on her bed.

Kay: Good morning,  Lil.

Lilli: Morning.

Kay: We brought you some breakfast. I got you pancakes, eggs, a bagel, and orange juice.

Lilli:  I see, thank you. Is that where you guys were?

Kay: Yea, Cece came by earlier and took us. Surprisingly earth food isn't that bad.

Kayleb walks over to Lilli and hands her the breakfast tray, he then climbs up onto the bed and sits next to her, while Jake walks over to his bed and sits.

Jake: She told us that we'd be able to live here peacefully if we accept an offer.

Lilli: Did you accept the offer?

Jake: Well...She hasn't given us all of the details yet, so we're just going to have to wait to know what the offer is.

Lilli: O-kay...

Kayleb releases a loud sigh and begins to swing his feet.

Kay: I miss home you guys. We've only been here for two days now and it already feels like forever. 

Jake: Weren't you just happy and smiling about what Cece said in the cafe?

Kay: Yea, that's because it beats being locked up in this room! But even so, we shouldn't be here right now. We should be home helping whatever it is going on.

Jake: I'm pretty sure we'd just get in the way. You heard it yourself, the people on that ship belonged to Vitaly's crew. There's nothing we can do that'll be helpful. 

Kay: Aargh, this couldn't have waited another five more years?!

Lilli: I understand you're frustrated Kayleb, but what matters most is that we're safe. Plus if anyone is to make a bad situation better, it'll be you. So cheer up.

Lilli wraps her hand around Kayleb's shoulder and kisses him on his head.

Jake: Hey! Now that we're on the the subject. I have to admit that there has been something on my mind since we left.
