#6: She's Not Aware

Ishikawa Apartment

"I'm home", Aki entered. "Welcome home", she heard another voice. She peeked in and saw Fushimi working at the living room. "Where is mom and dad?", Aki asked. "Your mother went to have her massage. Your father is still working", Fushimi informed.

Aki nodded and passed through him. She peeked and saw canned coffee on the table. She sighed and her hands itched. She grabbed the canned coffee. "I'd be preparing some tea. You haven't been sleeping well and you're drinking these kind of drinks. It would be difficult for your blood to circulate", Aki said politely.

Fushimi looked at Aki but it didn't made her flinch. "I'll also be cooking for dinner so...", Aki ran at the kitchen. She chopped the vegetables and saw Fushimi entering the kitchen. "Hey, I don't like vegetables", Fushimi informed. Aki chuckled and stopped chopping. "Sorry Fushimi-san, father asked me to take care of you. That goes with your diet", Aki smiled. Fushimi sighed and gave up.

It's already 8 and they haven't yet returned. Aki received a message for them to take dinner ahead.

They both sat in front of each other. Aki gulped and served the food to Fushimi. "Are you alright?", Fushimi suddenly asked. He was referring if Aki notice some people following her around. It's already the 3rd day and it's going smoothly. "I'm fine. Thank you for asking", Aki was confused why she was asked with tha question. "How about Fushimi-san?", Aki remembered Akiyama saying that the group will be better in his hands. "Don't ask if you don't mean it", Fushimi clicked his tongue and removed the vegetables. He placed it on Aki's plate. "You...", Aki sighed and just accepted it.

"Fushimi-san, do you miss your dorm house?", Aki asked. Fushimi didn't respond but just ate his food. "They'd be more at ease if I'm not there. I'm just a big burden for them", Fushimi had a short sarcastic laugh.

They're better if they're in his hands.

I'm just a big burden to them.

"Akiyama-san thinks that you are someone they need. I bet they also miss you", Aki tried to convince him. "Those people are righteous individual from birth. They lived with justice and they are naturally born with such heart for others. Someone like me came and snatched one of the highest positions. Do you really think they miss some bastard like me?", Fushimi asked bitterly.

" I don't know", Aki looked down. "See", Fushimi sighed. "I don't know anything about Fushimi-san. That's why I can't answer you", Aki looked at his eyes. She's doesn't seems to be scared of him anymore. After sometime, they were alarmed with gun shots. "Ishikawa, go inside your room and hide", Fushimi ordered. Aki did what he asked. Her heart was racing.

You can hide but we'll see you soon.

And when we see you, we're going to play with you.

Aki felt shortness of breath but she was able to hide in her closet. She heard exchanges of gun shot. Fushimi is alone. Aki remembered Akiyama's calling card. She messaged him.

Akiyama-san. Help! House number Xxxx

After sometime, the shooting ended. Aki was about to open the closet but some memories flashed on her.

There you are!

"There you are", Fushimi opened the closet for her. Aki's eyes were filled with tears. "Did that scare you? Akiyama and the rest just arrived. Don't worry, you're already safe", Fushimi tried to comfort her.

"Blood?", Aki saw blood on Fushimi's shoulder. "It's not mine", Fushimi looked away. Akiyama finally saw her. He pulled her for a tight hug. "Akiyama-san", Aki hugged him back. "I'm glad you're alright", Akiyama patted her back. Fushimi looked at her and left.

Nobu and Erina are waiting outside the room. "She's safe, Ishikiwa-san", Fushimi informed. "Thank you for keeping her safe. I can't believe this would happen to her again", Nobu clenched his fist. "Again?", Fushimi caught that word. "Back in the past, my dear Aki nearly became a victim of hostage", Erina informed.

Scepter 4
Dorm house- living room

"You'd be staying here for a while. Until we catch, Yoro, you need to be in our protection", Akiyama explained. It was also explained to Nobu and Erina. They agreed right away. All for the safety of their daughter. Aki was just silent. "I'll be here for you, Ishikawa. Also, there are nice people here. We'd be capturing Yoro as fast as we could", Akiyama smiled.

Aki dropped her head on Akiyama's shoulder and fell asleep. Akiyama carried her in his arms and went into the guest room.

"I'd be leading the search team, Fushimi-kun. I know you can find him faster than me but I will do my best to protect her by looking for Yoro", Akiyama felt his presence. "You're a good leader. Someone they would all follow", Fushimi passed by.

"I heard about the shooting in your house, are you alright?", Riko asked. "Yeah, it's a good thing someone was with me", Aki remembered Fushimi. Akiyama told her that the fight was already over when they arrived.

"I see. Also, you were absent yesterday. We'd be visiting the hotspring two days from now. Its a volunteer work in the high mountains", Riko informed.

"Hot.. Spring!!!", Aki's eyes widened.

Scepter 4
Dorm house- Dining Hall

"No, you can't join", Fushimi said right away. Aki looked down. "It's okay, Ishikawa. Maybe, we'd ask captain for reconsideration", Akiyama smiled. Speaking, Munakata entered with Awashima. Aki was awed to see such person oozing with power. She gulped and felt that its difficult to swallow her food without making any sound. "Nice to meet you, Ishikawa Akihabara-san. I am the Captain of the Scepter 4, Munakata Reishi. Please find comfort in staying here. This is my Lieutenant Awashima. Feel free to ask her if you need something", Munakata sat down in the middle. Everyone ate while Munakata is praising them one by one.

"Fushimi. Great job in protecting, Ishikawa-san", Munakata smiled. Fushimi seems embarrassed and didn't look at his face. That expression was priceless. "Captain, Ishikawa wanted to join their field trip. Would it be okay if she attend it?", Akiyama opened. "Why not? Fushimi will accompany her", Munakata informed. Akiyama winked at Aki and she smiled. All thanks to Akiyama.

Akihabara volunteered to wash the dishes with Akiyama. "You don't have to do this. You have school tomorrow", Akiyama reminded. "You asked for the Captain, so... I wanted to thank you by doing this", Aki informed. Akiyama splashed water on her face. "You're really adorable, Ishikawa", he commented. Akihabara pouted and did the same. They were nearly wet when Kamo cleared his throat.

Akihabara excused herself to take a bath. "She's fun to stay with", Akiyama chuckled. "Akiyama, I know you are nice to everyone. But then, I just hope your kindness isn't misinterpreted by people. I'm telling this because I just don't want you to get hurt and also... I don't want her to get hurt as well", Kamo lectured. Akiyama tilted his head signalling he doesn't understand him.

Akiyama's phone rang.

"Riko", he smiled.

"You don't have to go", Kamo grabbed his arm.

"Hmm?", Akiyama hummed.
