University
LibraryI'd get used to it.
I'd get used to it soon.
This was how I intended it to be, just to be a normal student and graduate in time. Work and make my parents proud.
"You're working too hard. I might be worried that you're actually going to break", Riko patted her shoulder. "Aki, why don't we hit the road again? There's a lot of sale at the mart", Hina suggested. "I guess you're right. I need to take some time off", Aki chuckled.
Shopping District
"So, you're already being scouted as a model. That's great", Riko clapped. Riko easily appreciate other people. "How about you and Aki, aren't you planning to have some part time job and the like?", Hina asked. "I've got mine. I help my parents with our shop", Riko informed. "Your shop?", Aki and Hina asked at the same time. "We own a vegetable shop. Did I forget to tell you", she scrapped her nape.
Some men in blue uniform passes by the pedestrian. "Ah, aren't they so busy right now?", Hina sighed. Aki looked at Riko staring at Akiyama wearing a different uniform. It's for the higher rank. Aki suddenly saw a shadow of Fushimi in Akiyama. She slapped herself and grabbed the two to buy some clothes.
I'd get used to it.
This normality, isn't this what I wished for?
Fushimi Mansion
Fushimi went down the stairs and saw Kisa in her long black dress. "I'd be leaving the country for a while. Make sure you take good care of the company", she said awkwardly and left.
Kusanagi offered a cup of coffee. "I'm going somewhere today. For those that I fired the last meeting, show them their net break down and their shady accounts", Fushimi instructed. "Yes boss. Where are you going?", Kusanagi hummed. "None of your business", Fushimi started walking away. "Oh, that reminds me. That 'airhead' called last time", Kusanagi informed.
"I couldn't believe that Misaki came back to life again", Kusanagi shrugged and walked the other way. Right. Before he even escape HOMRA, Kusanagi was able to retire earlier. He wasn't pursued back because of his family influence in the government.
Fushimi walked outside and saw the huge building. He had always been housed in a cage. His father manipulated him since he was a child. He was never taken cared of by a maid or even a proper parent. Nikki doesn't even want Kisa to hold him for even just a minute. He was molded for people to be disgusted of to used it for Nikki's advantage. So that at least, Nikki knows that someone is worse that him.
This kind of comfort... A disgusting one.
I'd soon get used to it.

Scepter 4
Dorm House"Calm down, Aki. Its just a birthday party for Kamo-san and I was invited", Aki grabbed on her chest. She's not that prepared to see the whole crew after a long time.
She heard some footstep and hid at the post. She peeked in and saw someone in black fury jacket. He was wearing his hood but Aki clearly knew who it was. He stepped forward but soon stepped back and took a detour.
Aki tried to follow her until she lost her along the way.
Street
The rain started to fall and Aki looked for a shed. She luckily found one. There were some high schooler in the same shed as well.
"Sorry, I forgot to bring my umbrella", said the male high schooler. "Don't worry. I'd be fine. Maybe I can just wait for the rain to stop", the female answered. "Then, I'll wait with you", response from the male.
Aki felt like being left out. She just awkwardly stood in front of them. In front of her, she saw a familiar figure walking under the rain.
"I knew it. He wouldn't take good care od himself", Aki sighed and was about to ran towards him. A hand grabbed her back. She stares behind and saw the Captain. She gasped and covered her mouth. "Captain", she bowed very low. "Captain? Please, call me Munakata", Munakata smiled. He's wearing a casual clothe. The female highschooler was drooling over him.
"Everyone call you the same so...", Aki nervously smile. Munakata lets go of her. "You were trying to ran after Fushimi", Munakata noticed. "Ah. I haven't seen him for so...long. So", Aki looked the ground. "You miss him", Munakata commented. "Ah. I..", Aki was about to protest but Munakata seems to be a person who knows everything. He hit the spot. "Captain, why did Fushimi-san leave the Scepter 4?", Aki asked politely. Munakata opened his umbrella and stepped forward. He waited for Aki to step in as well. "It's Kamo's birthday. Let's go", Munakata invited. Aki's eyes followed where Fushimi walked pass through.
SCEPTER 4
DORM HOUSE
Domyouji drank fruit juice and pretended that it was alcohol. They suddenly turned silent when the Captain arrived with Aki. "Why did you stop? I just came to play cards with you", Munakata showed the deck. They all looked defeated even without starting the game.
Riko and Aki joined the game as well. Riko was defeated in the first round. Awashima and Aki were still on the game. "Heh, I know that Captain will win this game again", Akiyama commented. "No one ever came close in beating him except Fushimi-san", Awashima said with a calm face. "Then, he was able to have a gift from the captain", Fuse joined the conversation. Aki had determination in her eyes. If she wins the game, she might be able to ask the Captain about Fushimi. The game proceeded and its just the two of them left.
Aki crossed her finger dedicated to win the game. "What would you do after college? Ishikawa-san", Munakata raises his eyeglasses. Aki felt the stares of the audiences. "I had always dreamt of being a doctor, Captain", Aki answered. "That's a wonderful dream", Munakata smiled and dropped his cards. He won again. Aki clicked her tongue. She's that close. Everyone looked at her. That was a close impersonation of Fushimi. She flustered and sang happy birthday out of the blue.
Munakata called for Aki at the balcony. "Fushimi chose to leave on his own. There's nothing I could do to stop him. You see, he's always been that guy who would take the burden on his own", Munakata opened. Aki was startled with the sudden topic. She just nodded and listened. "When his father died, it was clear that he is to take over the company or else, they would elect from the board. Since his mother is already the chairman, she couldn't hold that position anymore. They had been bothering him for quite sometime as well through letters. Fushimi had never been acknowledged as part of their family since he was never anything but a tool to his father. For him to at least be lifted from his bottom rank, he made fushimi as his stepping stone. With just one plea from his mother, Fushimi dropped his position here. But I can confidently say that he's got load of hesitation during that time. I don't want it to be more difficult to him so I permitted him to leave", Munakata looked at the sky.
"Fushimi-san really left", Aki said with a sad tone. Munakata looked at her expression. "At first, he was never fond of humans. He would just tag along me and ask for any duties and work. He is such a workaholic. He doesn't want to talk to anyone aside from me", Munakata informed. "I was trying to give him a push to be more warm towards the others but I was acting recklessly. For a person who had never known of such warmth, how is he possibly capable of emulating something he haven't seen?", Munakata crossed his arms.
"But then, one day, he suddenly came to me reporting about a lady who is in need of monitoring. Surprisingly, he agreed to do the mission himself. After which, I heard him opening up to other people. I want Fushimi to be more understood. ", Munakata looked at Aki's eyes and so did she. "I gave Fushimi a place to call his own but it wasn't enough to make him stay. What could possibly make him think of himself as well aside from being toss and fro by guilt and responsibility", Munakata passed through Aki.
"You sound like Fushimi-san's father , Captain", Aki suddenly smile. "I'm too young to be a father", Munakata laughed.
