Chapter: 2 The Exam Continues

(Y/N) POV

'Ugh running sucks'

'What if we die'

'He's cute and him oh him too'

I rolled my eyes I need to keep everything under control.

If I keep my own state more or less emotionless, it is easier to control them all. Too much emotion could cause my control to break and set her free.

We ran for what felt like hours. Some were already dropping out, I watched as they lost hope or just ran out of energy. I had a mission and couldn't get distracted.

We eventually got out of the underground. There was a bunch of commotion and a guy who accused the examiner of not being who he had claimed. All of a sudden three cards were thrown, one at the examiner, one at the fake, and the third at.... me! I quickly grabbed it before it could make its mark. I looked up and turned to Hisoka knowing he was trying to get me mad. I decided to mess with him back, I kissed the card and threw it back. He looked at me and smiled.

"(Y/N) stop flirting with your boyfriend," I turned to see Illumi.

"Don't be childish, big brother," I say walking past him, he was here undercover for whatever reason so better not break it," and he is not my boyfriend."

We start running again and it takes even longer than before. When we get there I see Killua and walk over to him.

"What's up kid," I say putting my hand on his head," test to easy so for you."

He pushes my hand away, "stop, you're embarrassing me."

"Sorry, guess you're too old to hang out with your older sister now."

"You're so annoying."

"You never said that when you followed me everywhere when you were little." I adore teasing him.

"Sh-shut up," he looked away.

The next part of the test was to cook something. Long story short, no one passed because some idiot couldn't keep his mouth shut. Also, no one gave a good dish but I blame the idiot.

'We should kill him'

Time skip past the test with the eggs you are now on your way to the tower.

This is incredibly uneventful. I have nothing to do and I'm starting to miss my baby. She probably somewhere nearby, she always followed me.

I went to sleep for a while but decided to wander around a bit. I walked past a room and saw Gon and Killua. They seemed to be fighting the old man who showed up earlier. I'm glad Kill found someone his age and that kid seemed to have a light in his eye, I liked it. Illumi might not be so happy.

I collapsed on the ground. Holding my head wanting to scream. The pain wasn't bad but her voice was so loud.

"I'm so bored," her voice came out of my mouth.

I shook my head and stood up. She is incredibly useful in a fight if under control but losing it here would probably kill everyone.

"My, what a show."

"Well if it isn't the clown."

"Funny. He wants you to join us."

"Tell him thanks but no, " I start to walk away.

"It's not nice to ignore your boyfriend."

He dodged the knife. He smiled and turned around.

"The next person to say I have a boyfriend is going to die."

We landed on top of a tower. We have 72 hours to get to the bottom. I heard a high pitch screech and turned around, a giant winged beast landed on the tower. All the examines except a few backed away in terror.

"Baby!" I yelled and it ran towards me.

She pushed her head into me as I pet along her scaled snout.

"Good girl, but I told you to stay home, " she whined and licked my hand, " I know you miss me but I'll be home soon now go."

She reluctantly flew away and I notice people staring at me. I ignore them and started looking for a way into the building. I stepped on a block and fell into a room.

Apparently, this was 'majority rules' and I had to wait for the rest of my team. I hadn't expected Killua and his friends to join me.

We were greeted by a group of prisoners.

(Imma add person because you know...plot)

The guy who had constantly tried to sabotage people gave up as soon as his match started. And Gon performed amazingly well. Kurapika knocked his opponent out cold, I almost couldn't hold back my laughter he claimed to be a spider. I've seen the spiders he wasn't one not by a long shot. At the moment we watch Leorio struggle, after being a pervert. This game of rock paper scissors was painful.

" I'm so bored this is taking so long."

Leorio came back looking completely defeated. Killua was next, and his opponent was a murderer. I almost couldn't hold back my laughter again this was going to be fast. I got up and started to stretch and by the time I was done the guy's heart was torn from his body.

"My turn~", I was having a lot of trouble keeping my emotions in check. My voice was starting to turn into many.

I walked onto the platform. A man stopped in front of me. He was tall, skinny, had black hair and pale skin.
He didn't look like much but his aura was so familiar it was pissing me off.

" This will be a deathmatch little girl, " his smug smile was plastered on his face as he looked me up and down, "it's a shame I have to rip that little body of yours apart."

"Stop talking old man and come on."

"My my ho-, " he paused and took a closer look at me, " your (l/n)'s daughter." He started to laugh.

"You know them."

"Know them, we're great friends in fact, " he looked at me with a sinister smile, " you were going to be sold to me before I got put in here."

"He couldn't stand having such a weak ass kid, so when I couldn't get you he sold you to that 'research' center-."

Before he could finish he was on the ground with my hand inches from his throat.

"Where are they, " my emotions we're almost out of control I had about a minute.

My aura was so menacing everyone in the room coward in fear. I was playing with fire at this point.

"I-I don't know, " he started to sweat, " they loved auctions I'm sure they still do, fi-fine one and you'll find them."

I smiled at him, " thank you~,"  and I slit his throat watching as the sick fuck struggled.

I hadn't realized that a voice had told us where to go until killua had grabbed on to me.

"Come on."

We got into a room where we would spend the time we had lost. I took an empty corner and closed my eyes.

'I'm going to kill them and take everything they love.'
