Chapter: 5 New Mission and Phone call

I feel like a certain character hasn't appeared enough, huh. Oh well on with the story.

The talk with your father had gone better than expected. He was certain Killua will take on his role as head of the family, he just needs time and space. For that, you were pleased and thought the conversation was over. You couldn't have been more wrong.

~Flashback~

"So you found information about your birth parents."

"How did you-."

"You know I have my ways child."

You nodded and looked at your hands, choosing your next words carefully.

"I believe the Phantom Troupe could give an answer to their whereabouts."

He hummed and signaled for you to continue.

"I know it would be irresponsible to go and carry out my vendetta but, " you trailed off.

"Well, I have a job for you. "

Your heart dropped.

"You, (y/n) Zoldyck, will find and dispose of the rest of the (L/n) family."

You looked at him surprised.

"Is that clear."

"Yes, sir."

"And when you return you will be punished, how severe your punishment will be is up to your mother."

"I am completely prepared to face the consequences of my actions."

~End of flashback~

Laying in bed you looked over at your phone and remembered what Hisoka had told you.

"Shit!"

Picking up your phone you were going to call him when an unknown number flashed across your screen. Deciding to answer it you held the phone to your ear.

"Speak."

"As charming as ever."

"Chrollo Lucilfer, " you rolled your eyes, " may I help you?"

"I was told that it was you who needed my help."

"I'm looking for two people, a wife, and husband, " you got up and stood next to your window, " I was informed that they were relatively fond of auctions."

"Not very specific-."

"The (L/n)'s, " you sighed, " I'm looking for my birth parents."

He was quiet for a second, you could barely hear his breathing.

"There is a massive auction happening soon, I could give you more information but it comes at a price."

"What do you want."

"Wow didn't even put up a fight."

"Just name your price bastard."

"We can work out the details later, " you heard a shuffling sound in the background, " for now I'll keep in touch."

"Wait-, " the line went dead. You tried to call back multiple times only to be great by a voice saying the number was no longer in service.

A knock on the door halted your eighth attempt to get ahold of the spider's leader.

"Come in!"

The door opened to reveal your grandfather.

"Oh hello, grandfather."

He gave you a small nod, " your mother wants to see you."

A wave of fear washed over you.

'She is going to kill us'

"Uhm, do you know why?"

"I believe you have a very good idea as to why."

You sighed, " where is she now?"

"Dealing with the guest you brought."

"Okay, thank you, grandfather."

You made your way to where one of your favorite butlers was stationed. Surely they didn't make it past her already.

You arrived to see a very unconscious Canary, a very beaten up Gon, and your mother screaming.

"He only just got home!" She yelled.

She turned to you, " I will have a chat with you later!"

She ran off with your other brother following close behind.

'Yep, she is going to kill us.'

'No doubt.'

'We could just run off with that cute guy we say a couple of weeks ago.'

'We killed him.'

'Oh yeah, we can find another hot guy and not kill him.'

'We are going to die.'

You shook your head, ' shut the hell up all of you!'

Turning towards the butler on the ground.

"Is she alright?"

Leorio nodded, " she should be fine."

"I'll take you to the butler's quarters," Canary mumbled.

"Canary-," you started.

"I assure you, Lady (Y/n), I am alright."

"Okay get these guys there and don't push yourself too hard."

She lifted herself from the ground and bowed to you.

"(Y/n) aren't you going with us?" Gon asked.

"No, I need to get my stuff and leave as soon as possible." You smiled at them, " now please take care of Killua."

You didn't wait for them to leave before disappearing rushing back to your room. You didn't have much time and really didn't want to get caught in your mother's wrath. So you tossed some stuff in a backpack, grabbed your phone and hunters license. Racing through the forest until you reached a very special someone.

"Hey my little baby, " you cooed to your gigantic flying creature.

She wagged her tail making the ground tremble and trees collapse.

"Okay, okay I'm happy to see you too."

Climbing onto her back, you made sure all of your stuff was secure." Let's go and be quiet, please."

She raised her wings and shot upwards into the sky.

'Let's just hope Dad keeps mom from making me come home,' you worried.

"Okay baby, Heavens Arena, " you gave her a small pat on the head, " you know where that is?"

She made a noise as if upset that you even asked such a question.

"Don't give me attitude." You laughed.
