He drove all night, passing the the town sign of Sinop in the early morning hours. He had spoken to Azmiye who had then returned to the office to check Selin's parent's address from her file.

Parking in front of the Sever house he suddenly had gotten anxious. He couldn't wait to see her face but he had no clue about what to tell her parents about his reasons of coming or how to begin to talk to her. Maybe she had told her parents already everything and her father wouldn't even let him in the house, he sighed and just sat there. After an hour he saw how Semih bey left the house, heading down the road obviously for errands.

This is perfect he thought, he'd to deal only with her mom. He jumped out of the car and held his breath ringing the door bell, when he heard Selin's mom rumbling from inside „What did you forget again?" his hope Selin would answer the door shattered.

„Demir, oglum?"

„Good morning, efendim. There is an emergency, sorry to disturb you this early"

„Is something with your aunts?"

„No, no, they're good but I need my stuff that is in Selin's house and she obviously did not leave a key in Istanbul. Is she at home?"

„No, she isn't here, she's on a break from work and went to the Yayla house for a little resting, we'll follow at the weekend but she left some of her stuff and her keys here. Come in, you must be tired from the way down here, have you eaten?"

She was holding the conversation as she walked away, Demir followed her to discover that they were going to Selin's childhood room. His breath was taken away already by the sight of the room because it was like a tiny template of their home, selin was basically everywhere, the room had dark wooden furniture but was decorated with pastels in every color. The walls were full of posters of art, paintings and all sorts of cut outs of magazines, the book shelfs were loaded with books, magazines and artwork. The big window above her desk was standing open, the branches of a large tree before it almost reaching in as if it was the perfect entrance for Peter Pan hilself. His chest hurt and he felt a little dizzy. While her mother was searching in Selin's familiar green sack for the key, Demir was trying to take every detail in, regretting every minute he had spend as a kid not finding his way to this window.

„Aaa, there it is. I would call Selin but there is no phone service up there so, but i think she'll be pleased if you get your stuff finally out of her home. So now come and try my börek."

„Actually I have to be back as soon as possible, if you don't mind I would love to take some with me and leave... and how nice that Selin has the opportunity of complete solitude up there, I am very surprised how there are still places left with no access to phone service" he continued as casual as he could manage.

„Oh yes, it is one of the last resorts, the Akgöl Yayla, it is quite famous with waterfalls and a lakes, you have to bring your aunts some day!"

„Oh they would love it, so your house is near the lake?"

„Yes, with a own pier, that sounds fancy but it is not, it's an old house, nothing like your aunts' mansion" passing the living room door she pointed in the direction of pictures on the wall „Look there we have a picture of the house" Demir still trying to stay calm and casual was eagerly starring at the picture. Memorizing the house and it's location at the lake, he thought this is better than i expected.

„I'm sure they will love it and I'll give them your invitation as soon as I am back, so now I have to leave."

He was very much interested not to bump into Semih bey, he would most probably be suspicious and not this easy on him.

Demir accepted the regards for his aunts and left relieved.

Activating google maps he typed the location of the Yayla in. It had to be the sleep deprivation and low blood glucose or he was just going slowly crazy to be in such a good mood but he couldn't help it. Cheerfully he shouted, up to the Yayla.
