Why does he see me as his pup?

Delirious/Jonathan POV

I lay wrapped up in Evan's warm arms as I blankly look at the ceiling. 'Why has Evan been calling me his pup?' I asked myself for the 5th time for the last hour. I turn looking up at Evan looking over his face trying to understand why he would call me his pup. I slowly start to blush as I look over his sleeping face. I then look away feeling weird about it. Evan is hugging me close to him his arm cupping my head holding it close to his chest the other wrapped around my small body. I would be loving this if I didn't look like a kid and he hadn't just called me his pup hours ago! I frown groaning a bit. I then feel Evan groan and shift a little so I look to him and see him open his eyes then laugh as he see's me looking back at him. "Cant sleep Peanut?" Evan said half awake. I couldn't help but frown at the sudden nickname.  (I'm used to delirious not peanut.)

Evan then sat up groaning a bit from sleeplessness then he leaned over to grab something from his side table drawer. Evan then laid back down pulling me back to him. Evan then waved something in front of me. I went wide eyed and grabbed it hugging it close to me. "Teddy~" I purred as I hugged my old small sock monkey like teddy bear close to me. I buried my face in it and I could still catch a small bit of my scent from it. Evan laughed pulling me close as he laid down to fall asleep again. "Glad I kept that." Evan said as he breathes out and quickly fell back asleep.

I looked at Evan then teddy purring. 'Teddy's still so cute after all this time. I would of thought he had gotten a little dirty but he still looks the same as the day I lost him.' I smiled hugging teddy but stopped and blinked as a question passes. 'Why does Evan have this?' I frown confused thinking to myself. I looked to Evan confused but a bit happy. 'Did he keep it just in case I came back? Evan could of just thrown it out but he didn't. Evan maybe a bit mad at me but he still believed I would come back eventually. Right?' I say to myself as I hug teddy close and cuddle closer to Evan feeling a bit lonely but also happy. (If that makes sense) As I lay closer to Evan I feel Evan take a breath in and start purring hugging me closer.

I woke up when I felt the warmth leave my side but kept my eyes closed to try to fall back to sleep but I whimper as I feel cold wind hit me. Then just as fast warm arms wrap around me with a purr. I hug closer to the warmth as they pick me up and they walk out of the room. I start to hear talking and smell food so I open my eyes and look around to see that I'm in the kitchen with everyone with Brock by the stove making breakfast. I look around and see Craig giggling as he looks over at me. "Oh the baby  is awake." Craig said giggling some more as he smiles ear to ear at me. I frown and feel myself go a bit red so I look up and see that Evan was carrying me and he was smiling down at me. "Morning peanut." Evan said sweetly and I couldn't help but smile back.

I turn back to everyone to see Craig trying to hold back a laugh. "Peanut?" Craig said softly then laughed out but covered his mouth so it wasn't so loud. I blushed embarrassed. "The kid is not going to like you very much if you keep picking on him." Tyler said with a laugh moving to put his arm around Craig but Craig's smile turned to a frowned and he brushed Tyler's hand away looking away from him. Tyler frowned a bit hurt but sighed laying his hand to his side looking straight ahead at nothing really. "Are you fighting?" I asked without thinking as I looked to both Tyler and Craig with a worried frown.

Tyler looks to Evan and I then looks down rubbing the back of his head sighing out. I feel Evans grip on me tighten. "No peanut they're not fighting they're just sleepy. Okay?" Evan said in a soft voice looking to me with a smile. I look to Evan then back at Craig and Tyler seeing that they're still not looking at each other. I frown looking to Brock seeing if he knows but he glances at me then turns back shaking his head. Brock doesn't know ether. "You hungry peanut? Want some scrambled eggs?" Evan asked trying to get me to look at something else as he sat down holding me close.

I glance once more over to Craig and Tyler then turn to look at Evan as he softly grips my hands I look up and nod. "Can you say scrambled eggs?" Evan asked as he smiles at me I blush looking away. "Sc-scrambled eggs?" I say softly as I look down embarrassed. I feel Evan start to purr hugging me closer. "Good job peanut." Evan said smiling wider I look at him and the happy face he's making.

Brock placed down breakfast and put some away for Lui and David. Brock then moved over to me and started to pick me up. Evans head snapped to Brock and a quick but deep growl was heard. Evan pulled me closer then looked to Brock. "What?" Evan said looking to me to see if I was okay then back to Brock. "I-I uh. I thought I would take him so you could eat." Brock said shaky looking to Brian then to me then back to Evan.

Evan calmed down then shook his head. "I got him." Evan said moving my plate closer to me grabbing and moving a spoon of food to me. Brock looked to me worried for a split sec but moved to sit down. I looked back up at Evan then the spoon and moved to grab it but he moved it away. "No, Say ahh~." Evan said smiling at me with a laugh. "Evan he knows how to hold a spoon and eat without much help." Brian said as Brock sat next to him. Evan looked to Brian then to me with a frown. "Two spoon fulls then I'll let him do it himself. K?" Evan said then held the spoon in front of me. Brian looked to Evan with a sad look but turned to his food. I frowned not sure why Brian was sad but not wanting to make Evan wait I turned to the spoon of egg's and opened my mouth and bite down my spoon full of eggs. I then hear deep purrs as Evan lets out soft laughs. I look up at him and let out a giggle cause I felt happy at how happy Evan looked.

Evan brought another spoonful and I did the same and Evan laughed once again. Evan was about to get more for me but Brian stopped him. "Two was enough now let him do it himself. You need to eat too." Evan looked to Brian then back to me with a frown. Evan sighed and let me do it myself as Evan went to eat his bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. I ate a bit of my food then looked to Evans sandwich wanting more then just plan eggs. Evan looked to me then glanced at Brian to see if he was looking. Evan then took a small piece of he's sandwich and handed it to me. I smiled and ate the amazing bacon master piece.

As I ate it I looked up at Evan and seen the most loving smile I ever seen Evan make. "Is it good peanut?" Evan asked with a laugh. As I see the face Evan had made I couldn't help but feel my heart stop. Evan smiled looking so happy that it looked like tears where in his eye's as he hugged me close. "My little pup." Evan said softly but purred loudly.

I smiled happy that I could make the one I care for happy. I push myself close cuddling against Evans chest. I turn away a bit as I feel a blush and a laugh come over me but I still hold Evan close. As I turn I see Tyler and Brian looking over to Evan with sad looks but not saying anything. I look to them confused then I look down feeling a pain in my chest. 'Am I doing something wrong?' I look back up at Evan to see loving eyes looking back at me.

"How much I wish you where my pup." Evan said in the softest and saddest voice but held the smile he had as he petted my head.
