---saturday---
I woke up to the sun on my face. How far away is it? Like 9 billion kilometers or something? And still, perfect aim. I sat in my bed and looked at my dress I had dumped on my dressing table. (I don't usually put clothes on my dressing table) I got up and walked down the stairs. Nobody was there, so I walked upstairs to Liam's room for some reason. I opened his door, he yelled, and pulled the covers around himself. Then he turned into a fox. He was a natural red-brown color with a white tipped tail. I raised my eyebrow at him. We have a rule that there are no animals in the house.
"So... What on earth are you doing?" I asked casually.
He turned back into a human before making sure the sheets were covering his parts.
"I...just had a shower"
"No, you didn't. I know for a fact that you sleep naked."
"Wha-Wha-huh?-how did you know that?" he asked with huge emphasis on the last word.
I decided to change the subject.
"Yes, thank you for asking, my date was nice."
"Huh!! I knew it was a date!" he pointed an accusing finger at me which I flicked away.
"Well, there's also something weird about Carter..." I trailed off thoughtfully.
"What? What is it?" Liam sat up straighter.
"When we were doing athletics the other day we had a 1500..." I trailed off again, but Liam got the idea.
"You didn't. You can't show everyone how good you are at that! We might be discovered!" Liam protested. I ignored him.
"And when we were out last night at this club, a random guy came up and grinded me, and Carter suddenly went all 'must protect' mode."
Liam frowned. "What did he do?"
"Nothing spectacular. But, I did sense this, this thing around him. I don't know what it was. It was really dark, and powerful, like I started to doubt my own abilities, that kind of powerful!"
Liam's eyebrows raised. "Huh." was all he said.
I didn't mention Carter's confused looks, and what he said after we kissed, but they were still nagging at me, like I should know this. Well, I should, but I don't. If that makes sense.
I sighed and walked back to my bedroom, I had just gotten changed into my skinny red jeans, vans and a top and hoody when the doorbell rang.
I huffed and pranced down the stairs. I pulled open the door, and my friend Autumn stood right in front of me.
"Hi." I said.
"Well?" she asked, didn't even greet me! Rude!
"What?" I pretended to not know what she was talking about.
She groaned. "Ugh! Come on." she tugged my arm, nearly causing me to fall over.
"Okay. LIAM I'M GOING OUT!!" I shouted up the stairs.
He didn't reply.
I shrugged and let Autumn yank me out into the street.
"Well?" she said again.
"Well what?" I asked.
"The date with Carter, you know! The tall blonde guy with stunning green eyes and those muscles..." she sighed and trailed off.
"Yes. I know who my date was. It went well, we had a great time." I said.
"Was there a little kissy-kissy?" she asked excitedly, making smooching noises with her lips.
