I'm walking away from Vee's house, and I don't really know what I just did. I, I guess I got scared. Scared of what would happen if the world knew we were together. And after what people saw on Chase's live last night, I just thought it would be best to shut her out. Not for good, but for now. She'll get over me right? Yeah of course, anyone would.
I need a distraction. Someone new to take my mind of her. But, I'll keep it private.
I took out my phone to check the time, 11:42. I ended up going to the spectrum with Chase.
"Okay so Avani is gonna meet us at Chic Fil A" Chase was explaining.
"You mean clown girl?"
"Word"
We got to the food court and she was there, in a neon green Billie shirt with her hair in a poofy ponytail. She's... ok I guess. Nothing compared to Vee.
"Hi Noen!" She ran up to me and hugged me
"Hey.. Avani" she smiled and hugged Chase.
· time skip ·
We were in the car driving home and we drove past Vee, in the field. Her face was reddish and lined with wet tear stains. Chase slowed down the car.
"Chase don't you dare pull over. Are you crazy?" He ignored me and stopped at the curb by the field. "Fuck you"
"Love you to Noen" he scrunched up his face and got out of the car whil me and Avanii stayed inside.
"Chase I'm going home" I pushed myself into the drivers seat and started the car back up.
"Word. I'll walk home in a few"
I drove away with Avani in the back seat. When we got home two seconds later I stomped through the door when I felt a hand grab my shoulder. I turned to see Avani standing behind me. She moved to the front of me pushing me to the wall and pressing her lips to mine. Not a good as Vee. But, I didn't push away. Like I said, I needed a distraction.
Like ten minutes went by and we were still making out.
"Noen?"
"What" I couldn't sound less amused.
"Can I be your rebound?"
"For Vee?"
"Yes"
"I mean I guess so.."
She hopped off me and pulled out her phone. Ok well what was that about. She took a picture of me on snap and wrote, 'new bf❤️'.
"No no no no no Avani don't post that please" I tried taking her phone from her but she turned it away. I swear this girl is like five.
"Too late!"
Oh shit.
