"Uh thanks"

He smiled and my God that smile.. was amazing. My heart melted. He then waved and turned around. I went to the bathroom before heading to the gate. One I boarded the plane I put my phone on air plane mode then turned on some music. I was in a two-seater, and I sat by the window. I wasn't paying attention to the people boarding until I saw him. The boy from Starbucks. He didn't see me, because he was looking at the seat numbers. He was talking to himself quietly.

"D23, D24- oh.. hi" he said when he noticed me.

"Hey"

"So LA huh?" He said and sat down

"Yup."

"What brings you there?"

"I.. I got in a fight with my mom."

"Oh, sorry"

"No it's fine. Um what about you?"

"I have a close friend I'm going to see."

"Oh cool."

"You seem upset, are you ok?"

We locked eyes. Somehow he knew how I was feeling. I didn't know him. Not at all. But I've been waiting to unleash all my feelings to someone and he seems to understand me. I told him everything.

"It will be okay. I'm Noen." He said and he wrapped his arm around me pulling me into him for a small hug.

"Veronica. Call me Vee."

We talked for the rest of the flight and we watched a movie in his phone. When the plane landed, me and Noen got off together I told him I needed to go to a car rental place so I have a car while I'm here. He said he has time and asked if he could come with.

"Yeah sure."

"Ok I have to get my bag first."

I followed him to the baggage claim and we waited until he picked up a red suitcase and a creeper backpack.

"Creeper?" I started laughing

He stopped what he was doing and gave me a "come on already" look.

"Yes. Creeper."

We walked to the car rental place and I rented out a black jaguar. I got in the car and asked Noen if he needed a ride and he said his friend was picking him up.

"Oh okay. Well see you"

"Wait let me get your number."

"Oh um.. okay"
He gave me his phone and I gave him mine.

"Bye Vee." He opened the car door and gave me a hug. It felt like forever until he let go, and kissed my cheek.

"Bye Noen." I blushed

He started walking away on his phone when I heard him say.

"Shit!"

"What happened."

"My friend can't pick me up anymore he's stuck in San Diego."

"Well I could drive you wherever you need to go."

"Thank you"

He ran back and hopped in the passengers seat.

"Where to?" I asked

"17 king st, maple oaks complex."

"Wait Maple Oaks?"

"Uh yes."

"My cousin has an apartment there it's where I'm headed too"

"Really? That's perfect.

A little while later we arrive at my cousins since Noens friend wasn't home. My cousin keeps the side door unlocked so we went through there. I looked at Noen and put my finger over my mouth to tell him to be quiet. I was going to surprise Ally, my cousin. I found her in her room on her phone with her back turned to the door. I sat on her bed and said

"Oh hey"

She jumped and turned around

"Omg!"

She hugged me and look up at Noen with big eyes

"Noen Eubanks?" she said

"That's me"

"Wait you guys know each other?" I was so confused

"I know him!" Ally shouted "can I get a picture?"

"Yes of course" Noen answered

"What the hell is going on" I was still, confused

"Um he's famous?"

I looked at Noen and he pulled out his phone and showed me his tik tok account. He had 2 mil followers

"Oh wow ok" I said

"So how did you guys meet? - Ally

"We met on at the airport" me and Noen said at the same time. We turned and stared at each other in a moment of silence.

"Omg Vee." Ally pulled me over into to the other room

"What?" - me

"Do you like Noen?" - Ally

"Um.. just met him.. but we.. idk.. we understand each other." I managed to spit out

"OMG you like him! And he likes you. That look he gave you? He's in love" - Ally

"Ooookaaayy yeah we're done here"
