So after school ended we all decided to head over to the quarry. But I didn't have a bike because I would always walk. Richie pulled out his bike and looked at me, "You could always catch a ride with me?" I smiled acceptingly before getting on the back, wrapping my arms around his waist, then off we went. I looked up at Richie as he rode, his now short hair still somehow was being blown out of his face due to the wind, he looked so calm and content. But of course as usual, Eddie saw me staring at 'his man' and bumped into us, me, and made a shitty joke to Richie. Flirting. I was for some reason mad, so I just looked away to ignore them. Why was Eddie so hostile? It's not like I would take Richie from him, he probably doesn't even like me in that way, Richie isn't probably gay.
"You okay Will?" Richie asked noticing I went quiet. I didn't look at him but nodded against his back, which resulted in him just making a small, 'hm' noise.
Once we got there I quickly got off the bike before Richie had even stopped, knowing damn well Eddie was gonna start something, or at least try. Richie saw me do this and stopped. "Will?" He asked. I hugged my arms to myself and felt uncomfortable, but I just acted like I didn't hear. Richie sighed and got off as everyone started to gather around, soon getting undressed down to their briefs, bra and underwear for Bev. I took a small glance at everyome and noticed that Bev had bruises on her body. Does she get... hurt?
"Do you guys always get naked before getting in?" I joked, Bev huffed and smiled, "Pretty much." Eddie rolled his eyes and clapped his hands together, " Right, let's go!" He yelled before running to the cliff and jumping off, Bill, Mike, Stan and Ben following after. Richie looked over at me, "if you don't feel comfortable you don't have to come with us, you can keep your pants on if it makes you feel better." He said smiling, I gave him a gently smile. "Thanks Rich." Richie booped my nose softly then ran and jumped off the cliff. I got a good look at his ass before disappearing.
Bev looked at me with a grin. "You like him?" She asked in a teasing voice, nudging my shoulder. I blushed darkly and looked away. "I think so..." I muttered. She smiled widely down at me, "Shoot your shot Byers. Nothing will stop you, and yes, he is gay. He came out to me and only me along time ago." She said with a small shrug and chuckled. "I knew it before he told me." I couldn't help but to smile brightly, I might have chance. But it faded quickly. "Doesn't Eddie like him?" Bev stretched and rolled her eyes, "It's not like it's a secret. But Richie only sees him as a younger brother. Richie wouldn't ever like him in that way." She said, which reassured me. I let out a small sigh and looked at her. "But he does reaaaallly like you." Bev grinned before leaving me there in shock.
Holy fuck.. Richie fucking Tozier likes me?!
"Will! Are you coming down?" I heard the raven boy call out. Quickly, I stripped down to my boxers, threw off my socks and shoes before running off, and in a split second I hit the water, it stung but it was a nice feeling, I let myself float and let go. Opening my eyes underwater it was really pretty. The sun from up above made the water seem really bright and beautiful, the water was a light blue but had a few dark places, almost like Richie's eyes. And speak of the devil he was swimming upside down and stopped in front of my face. We both exchanged smiles, staring at each other. His hair around him looked like black kelp, just flailing around him, which made him look like a god. I laid my hand on his cheek and just admired his beauty underwater. We both started to lean in again, like the other day, my eyes slowly fluttered shut. Me and Richie were so close, I felt his lips softly brushed against mine but it made me breath in water. I pulled away, feeling like I was about to cough, then feeling my body fill with water. Richie noticed this and quickly bought me back up to the surface. Him and I both gasping for air, but coughing up water, bringing everyone's attention. "Will are you okay?" He asked worried and breathless. "Y-yeah.." I wheezed out, feeling my face heat up, probably going red. I looked at Richie who had wide eyes. "I'm okay.."

After a few minutes I checked the time, seeing the sun was about 30 minutes before setting. I told everyone I had to go home and I offered to take Will back.
I got on the bike and allowed Will to get on as well. We rode off in silence until he spoke up, "I know you're lying, where are we going?" I felt his wet head lay against my back. "Somewhere." Will huffed quietly, "is this a surprise?" I smiled and glanced back at him. "Yeah, close your eyes and enjoy the ride." Once we got there I got off the bike and saw Will with his eyes closed. I helped him off, "follow my lead, and trust me." He nodded and did as I said. "Don't run me into a tree." Will chuckled, I laid one hand on his waist and the other held his hand. "Trust me." I said softly. We soon got there and I removed my hands. "We're here Byers." I looked at him from the side and watched as he opened his eyes. Will gasped softly, looking out at everything.
It was a large field full of flowers and green grass, a small hill out in the distance with a tree on top. Everything looked gold due to the sun setting and hitting the land, including the river that ran through. "Richie.." Will said breathless, his honey coloured eyes sparkling with joy. He turned to me with the biggest smile, "This is beautiful." I smiled at him in awe, I was too busy looking at someone else who is as breath taking as this view. "You're beautiful, Byers." I said softly. Will blushed and looked down bashfully, I took a step closer to him, gently lifting his head up. We both just stared at each other. And like the first two times, we leaned into each other, our eyes both closing. But oh no- just kidding, this time the gap between us closed. My lips connected to his softly, I felt nothing but sparks in the kiss, a small romance blossoming between us both. My heart started beating faster, not out of fear but out of something nice. I laid my hands on Will's waist and gently pulled him closer so that our bodies were touching, making him gasp softly, his hands going up to my cheeks to cup them. Will's lips were the softest thing ever, I just.. didn't want to stop. I leaned into the kiss making it seem more loving. And for the first time in forever i felt like I could let go of my worries. Kissing Will made me feel like we were floating, and that the whole world around us slowed down. After a bit we both gently pulled away, our foreheads laying against each other. My eyes opened, so did his, we both stared at one another's eyes. Both panting quietly due to how long that kiss lasted.
"Richie..?" Will asked gently.
"Will..?" I responded.
Will went to say something but he was cut off by someone whom I had hated for a long time.
