I was at home getting ready for a date with Will. Honestly? I wasn't worried at all, but I was bothered about Mike coming when summer comes back. Like why- he was such an ass to Will and hurt him, why does he even want to come. That's where I get pissed. But for now I'll push it aside and allow the thought to wake me at 3am.

"Ooo, Richie's going on a daaate." Ruby stood at the door cooing. I huffed and turned to her. "Yeaahh, I am."
"Is it with Will?" She asked sitting on the bed, crossing her leg over to give me a sas. I couldn't help but to blush, turning around to her eyes set on me. "Uh- maybe."
"Awhh, that's cute. I never knew you liked dudes."
"Well.. I always have, so." I said shrugging, walking past her to put deodorant on, fixing up my flannel, which was a big shock for me and everyone else. Flannels aren't my thing. "Good luck then. What do you plan to do?"
I turned to her with a grin, "surprise him." With that I walked downstairs and out the door, I grabbed my bike to hop on then rode off to him.

On the way I past a small garden that was out the front, I pulled over to look at it. The garden had a rose bush along with other flowers I didn't know. "Why not." Carefully, I leaned over to the Bush pulling out a rose, but yeah I'm stupid not realising it had thorns- the thorns cut my hand which hurt like fuck, so me being me I pulled out the thorns on the rose, sat the rose in my non hurting hand before riding again.
The blood dripped down and thankfully the cuts weren't that deep.

Soon enough I arrived to Wills house and walked up to knock on the door. Will answered and he greeted me with a smile, but it was quick to end when he saw my hand, "Richie what hap-" I cut him off holding the rose up, only a few spots of blood sat on the stem. Will smiled again with a shaking head. "Come on, let's wrap your hand." He gently took my wrist leading me into the kitchen, taking the rose to sit it in a little vase, before getting out a bandage to wrap up my hand. "It was worth it what can I say." I said as a joke, Will huffed looking up at me, "I can't believe you done that."
"I'd do anything for you."
Will blushed and finished up with the wrapping before standing up.  "So what's the plan for this date Tozier." I gently took his hand walking out to the bike, "Little sight seeing." Will smiled softly, getting on the back of the bike so that I can get on aswell. "Sounds nice."
"Yeah, I did a quick lap the other day so that I could show you. It's really pretty." I said proudly. "Show me the way Rich."

{3rd person}

So those two both rode off on the bike, Will wrapped his arms around Richie's waist and sat comfortably behind him. Richie kept making out that this was like a big tour or something like that. "Annnd now Mr. Byers to your right you will see the beautiful lake, no one swims in it because of how ancient it is."
Will hummed in interest, he laid his head against Richie's back. Both of them were happy and content, relaxed even. They were enjoying it. It had been a while since they had really hung out, or had gone a date. Yes they had a few questions, but for the evening they'd both push it aside. Richie biked up a hill to go down on the other side, he smiled widely like a child as his hair flew back behind him. Will looked up at admired him, he looked as amazing as he did before they dated, and Will smiled that he got contacts, it's easier for him to see his beautiful eyes. Richie stuck his legs out as he went down, putting them back to keep riding.
Richie kept showing Will around, and eventually reached the lookout on Derry. They both got off the bike, walking to the bench sitting next to each other. Richie put his arm around Will, gently pulling him close. Will laid his head against his shoulder. "This is pretty." The sun was just setting over town, and it looked aesthetically pleasing.
"Thank you for this, and.. I am sorry for what happened, I shouldn't of yelled at you." Will fiddled with his fingers, Richie looked at him and laid his hand on Will's, the smaller boy locking eyes.  "It's okay, I understand." Richie said softly with a smile, Will smiled back and looked out at the town. "Derry is bigger then I thought."
"I guess you've never been around the whole town." He shrugged. Richie looked at him again, "There's a party at Bev's tomorrow night, I was wondering if you'd like to go," Will looked back, "Sure, why not."

When it started to get dark Richie took Will back home, walking him to the door.

"Again, thank you Rich." Will said turning to me, "Don't worry about it, my treat." I replied smiling. We both looked into each other's eyes lovingly. "Do I have permission to kiss you darling?" I quietly huffed, blushing. Will smiled, leaning up to cup my cheeks and to connect our lips gently, my hands sat on his waist, my lips pursed up to kiss back.
Oh boy did I miss this.
After a while we pulled away, but still being close. Will gave me a smile, turning around opening his door. Him and I finding a bunch of people there with party decorations, blowing into those party birthday stick things

That make the weird noise idk what they're called

Will's eyes widened and so did mine.

"Mike what are you doing here?"
