And now for something different....

What makes this book so distinct from my other stories?  A.) No one dies and B.) it is thoroughly light-hearted.  And it was so fun to write!

The format of this book (she says, he says) sets you up to think it's a romance.  As the writer, even I thought it was going to be a romance.  Halfway through writing it, however, my heart told me that this was not a romance.  Mitzi was ace, like me.  And then I second-guessed myself, and wrote a romance ending.  Which meant that later I had to go back and rewrite the whole thing.

This story exemplifies why I don't like to post stories before they are finished.  As writers we crave the feedback, and the feedback can become addictive.  But before the story can be for the readers, the story first has to be for ourselves.  Writing is such a long distance marathon, but it's totally worth it when the story you tell is your truth.

This is not a romance.  I hope you enjoy it anyway.
