Before you knew it you were crammed in the back of a truck with your father at your side and the yelling Hopper on the other side. Joyce hopped into the front seat of the truck and struggled with the keys as she tried desperately to start the truck up. Hopper screamed and yelled at Joyce the entire time.

Your hands trembled the entire time and your breathing rapid. Your father noticed how petrified you were and he desperately tried to calm you down. He put his free arm around you and hugged you close.

"It'll be alright. It'll be okay." He whispered to you. You nodded quickly, and took a deep breath trying to calm your nerves.

Joyce finally was able to start up the car and you could feel the tires grind against the dirt as you peeled out and quickly drove off through the dirt. But not long after that Grigori came stumbling out of the house, gun still in hand and he began to shoot off at the truck. Bullets ricocheted around the truck. One even shattered the back window that you all sat in front which all sent you screaming and ducking, it was a miracle one of you didn't get hit.

You kept your hands pressed against your ears to try and drown out the noise. You huddled yourself over in your lap to try and shield yourself from the flying bullets, your hands still pressed against your ears. You've never felt your heart pound as much as it was now. You didn't think it was possible to be this terrified. You couldn't stop your hands from trembling.

Joyce took a sharp turn onto the main road, which sent you flying against the side of the truck and your father crushed up against you. You let out a small scream of pain as your head hit the side of the window. You grasped the side of your head and winced in pain. Everything was happening so fast you almost didn't notice that the bullets suddenly stopped and you were left zooming down the road into the night, all of you trying to catch your breaths.

You sat up in your seat and took another deep breath. Your heart was still pounding against your chest as the adrenaline continued to surge through your veins.

Alexei leaned over to you and gave you a reassuring look. He looked scared himself and you could see his hands trembling but it warmed your heart and eased your nerves that he still deeply cared for you. He always put your needs in front of his.

You put your hand on top of his and squeezed it tightly. He smiled at you.

A loud sputter interrupted you and your father's moment. You jerked your head around and noticed smoke rising up from the hood of the truck. Joyce slammed on the wheel in frustration as the truck began to slow down. She turned off onto the side of the road and the car came to a complete stop. You glanced over at your father who was also watching the smoke coming from the hood.

"What's going on?" You asked him.

He shrugged his shoulders, "It looks like the bullets must've penetrated something."

Joyce hopped out of the car and ran to the front and lifted the hood of the car. A big billow of smoke puffed out as she lifted the hood.

Hopper fumbled for the car door in frustration as he mumbled something, clearly rude, to himself. He swung open the door and hopped out, he tugged on the handcuffs and dragged Alexei out with him. He slammed the car door shut behind him and you were left sitting in the back of the truck alone. You watched as they all examined the inside of the truck.

There were parts of you that wanted to get out of the truck and run for it, but you knew you couldn't survive on your own without your father, and you didn't want to leave him alone with these strange Americans.

You heard Hopper getting more and more frustrated. He slammed his fist down on the side of the truck. Joyce desperately was trying to calm him down but it didn't do much. You noticed your father desperately trying to explain to them what happened because he was clearly smarter then them but they, of course, couldn't understand him.

Hopper became more frustrated as Alexei went on and kept screaming and yelling at your father. Hopper reached into his pockets quickly and your heart leaped to your throat hoping it wasn't a gun or any sort of weapon he was reaching for. You swung open the truck door and hopped out only to see him fumbling with the handcuff keys in anger trying to get your father unattached from him. A big wave of relief fell over you.

Hopper unlocked his handcuff and put both of them on Alexei's hands. Hopper rubbed his wrists and quickly walked away from Alexei and started mumbling to Joyce. You ran up to your father and gave him a huge hug.

"I hate it here! So much!" You sobbed, "Why are they taking us? Especially you!"

"It's okay (Y/N)," Alexei began, "I can tell they don't mean any harm. I reckon they want information out of me about my work, they don't want to hurt us."

"I really hope so." You say still hugging onto him tightly.

The two Americans then call for you, you glance over and they both are waving to you to come over to them. They were now behind the truck. You both followed their orders and walked over behind the truck. Joyce and Hopper were pushing the truck from behind and they wanted both of your help to help them push it off the road and into the woods. You reluctantly helped them.

This wasn't how you expected your day to go at all. Even now you missed the lab, despite how much you hated being there, it was much better than being stranded here with these scary foreign people.
