Okay so this is my third attempt at writing a book and hopefully I can finish it this time!

Please tell me who you think should cast for the characters :)

Enjoy!

Prologue.

He looked at her like no one had ever looked at her before. His eyes were so full of love, the tears almost burst from her eyes. He held her so delicately and his hand fit like a puzzle piece on the side of her neck. Her heart soared above all the beautifully lit stars and her breath was short and her knees felt weak. Her eyes were engrossed in his deep brown eyes, the colour of melted chocolate and they sparkled as the stars reflected and danced in them. He held her so close she could feel his heartbeat. There was nobody else on this dark street but them, in fact, there was nobody else in the world. He drew near to her so she could feel his warm breath on her skin and his perfectly messy hair tickled her forehead. Their lips lured each other, teasing, from the short distance between them.   She stared longingly into his eyes looking for some sort of indication or sign of what would happen next. His eyes suddenly glazed over and his brow deepened. His lip dropped in a worried pose and his hand dropped from her neck and grabbed her fingers quite roughly. She searched his eyes for the love they had held just moments before but he forcefully looked away.

âPeter?â she whispered, barely audible.

He glanced at her shoes and back into her eyes.

âGoodbye.â

His voice was harsh and cut straight through her soul.

âStop Peter, where are you going?â She cried out desperately.

He gave her a sorry look and slowly tucked her hair behind her ear.

âDonât wait for me.â He spoke but she could see into his heart and she knew he did not mean it.

She grabbed his arm but he tugged it away and dashed off. She gathered up her dress and started to chase after him but she stumbled in her heels and fell in the middle of the road, sobbing. Her whole body shook with pain and the scars on her heart were torn open. She watched as his dark figure disappeared into the background, but not before he glanced round and started at her intently. Then he was gone but that look gave her hope. It filled her soul and told her Peter had not meant what he said and she would find out what had forced this distance between them and for Peter to act so aggressive and abrupt. He told her not to wait on him and she would obey his order. She would not wait for him, she would look for him.
