Chapter ten

Everything was sorted, at least for them. Now as Ava knew the truth, she knew that Beau still loved her. As decided, they all reached The Brew at 8.

"Hey Luke! Hey Ava! This is Ashley.", Beau introduced Ashley to both of them.

"Hey Ashley! Glad to meet you.", Ava greeted.

"H...H....Hey Ashley!", Luke stuttered.

Ashley's facial expressions were changed. She looked surprised, shocked actually. As if she has encountered someone known, someone from the past, someone she wasn't expecting.

"Luke, why are you stuttering? Um.... Ashley you look surprised! Do you both know each other?", Ava asked.

"Sort of actually... We were childhood friends who......", Luke was replying when Ashley interrupted.

"Who lost contact in these years...... and now are meeting after a long time."

"Oh! That's great. You both can reconnect together again.", said Beau.

"Yeah, why not!", Luke murmured.

"Did you say anything?", Ava asked.

"Nothing. But yeah, I'm hungry. Let order something please. Then we can continue our conversation.", Luke replied.

During the whole conversation only Beau and Ava were conversating. Ashley was in deep thought. She was tensed. She was confused. She was shocked. She was surprised. But why?

All the time Luke was staring her like a foolish man. As if he knew much about her. She was not just a mere friend. She was more than that. Maybe someone special.

"So Luke you were told me earlier that you can help us. How will you do that?", Beau asked.

"Yeah, so there is a friend of mine, he is a profession private detective. He can help us in protecting all your information stolen by Suzy. Then we have to tape a confession of her confessing all her crimes she did, all the people she blackmailed. So we can expose her and her whole team.", Luke replied.

"Umm... don't take me otherwise but don't you think whatever you are saying to do is not that easy. There's not only Suzy but her whole team. She's not alone.", Beau suggested.

"Don't worry about it. I assure you this will work."

"As you say."

They continued their dinner. All the time Beau and Ava were reliving the moments they lost. They were trying to rekindle their romance. They wanted to cover up for all the times when they weren't together.

"You both look like a teenage couple deeply in love. May god bless you both.", said Ashley.

"Thanks Ashley, and I wish the same for you. I hope you find someone who cares for you like Jack cared for Rose.", relied Ava.

"I hope so. But I'm not lucky in the matters of love."

"Don't be hopeless. You'll find someone, I'm so sure of it. And you too Luke. I wish you both may find someone that will make your life blessed."

"Let's see", said Luke and Ashley together.

After having their dinner, they all went together to Port Harbour. This was the place where Ava and Beau used to come after the school. They relived every moment they missed while they were apart.

"Beau, don't you think that Luke and Ashley are behaving strange?"

"Strange, as in?"

"As if they both know each other already but don't wanna accept it. Maybe there's something between them."

"Honestly speaking I also noticed that. They are behaving strange infront of each other."

"We should find out what are they hiding. I will ask Luke directly. I know he will definitely tell me."

"Yeah! I'll also try to ask Ashley. I hope she tells me everything. Besides we have to execute our plan against Suzy tomorrow."

"Yeah! I hope everything goes as planned."

"Hope so."
