Val's POV

"Athena?" I knock at her door. I wait a few moments and she opens the door. She looks at me with a questioning face. "What? Is there something on my face?" I chuckle, jokingly. She giggles, looking down for a second then looking back up. "Why are you at my door?" She asks, "Is it illegal to just want to see you?" I smile but she stays quite.

I lay my hand on the door frame, towering over her small figure as I look down at her "Is it Athena?" I whisper, She bites her lip, catching a breath between her teeth and shakes her head slowly. "Okay then... So? Are you gonna let me in or no?" I give her a smirk and push myself off of the door frame. She steps backward, opening the door up more "come in." I chuckle before walking in.

As soon as the door is closed I press my lips to hers and push her against the closed door.

"Valentino..." She runs her hands up my back and around to my chest, placing her hands on my shoulders and squeezes them softly. I feel her smile and shortly after biting my bottom lip pulling it to her then letting it go. I open my eyes at the same time as her. "What are you doing Val?"

I sigh and run my hand up to her face, rubbing her cheek softly with my thumb. I kiss her once more and pull back. "I missed you" I whisper and kiss the little freckle that's on her nose. "You seen me.?. 3 hours ago." She smiles, "Doesn't mean I didn't miss you the second you were gone" I smile back at her. "Val... " She gives me her best 'awe' face and caresses my cheek with her right hand. "What love? It's true ..." I continue to smile. She leans in, catching my lips and kisses me deeply.

*ring* *ring*

She pulls away grabbing her phone form her pocket

Athena's POV

I look down at my phone and see it's my papa calling. I smile "it's my papa" I tell Val, he nods in understanding. "Hey papa" I answer, "Hey sweetie, I miss you" He says, "Awe, yo también te extraño" (I miss you too) I walk over to the window, Val follows me and sits on the edge of the bed. "What are you up to darling?" He asks

"I'm just hanging out with, with...." Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Think Athena think! "My friend! Yeah I made a new friend." I look over at Val and he laughs but quickly covers his mouth with his hand, I face palm also trying not to laugh. I swat him on the arm and mouth 'shut up' and he puts his hands up in defence. "Oh good, I'm glad... What's her name?" He asks, "Val-valentina" Val bursts out laughing while trying to cover it, making my face go red from trying not to laugh.

"Oh what a pretty name...Well anyways I was just wondering when you'd be home baby. Me and your dad miss you so much." He sounds so sad, "I can come home whenever you want, just let me know and I'll tell Sammy. I miss you guys too." I twerl a strand of hair in my fingers. "I was thinking you could come home before Tuesday because it's Danny's birthday and we're having a party for him."

Fuck. It's already Wednesday.

"Okay... How about sunday?" I glance at Val, he gives me a sad look. "It's your decision bebe, just message me or your dad and let us know... I'll let you get back to your girly things darling" "Okay, tell dad I love him. And I love you" "Love you too babygirl" He hangs up after that.

I turn the screen of my phone off and throw it on the bed, turning to Val. I walk up close and put my arms around his neck, giving him a hug. He puts his arms around my body and pulls me closer. We stay there for a few moments. "Im going to miss you" He speaks softly, squeezing my body tighter. "Im going to miss you too" I sigh. He pulls away a second later, grabbing my face and brings me into a soft kiss.

"Do you still want to know why I came in here?" He asks, standing up still holding onto me. "Why?" I question, "I came to ask you on a date." He smirks, making me smile. "Oh really now?" I let out a laugh, "No" He says this with a straight face

My mouth plops open and I put my hand to my chest, acting offended, "Better close that mouth before I start getting ideas." He laughs, I slap his chest and push him off of me, laughing. "But in all seriousness..." He gets down on one knee and grabs my hand.

What on earth is this man doing?

"Athena... Marie-" I cut him off with my laughing "That's so not my middle name!" I giggle, "Shhhhhhhh" He reaches up and puts his finger on my lip "don't ruin it!" "Okay! Okay... Continue" I smile, "Athena... Whatever the fuck your middle name is, Martinez, will you do me the honor of going on a date with me?"

This guy is so weird

"No." I say, straight faced. Just as he did to me earlier. He looks stunned, dropping my hand, mouth wide open, starring at me. "Hey, you better close that mouth before I get any ideas" I smirk and let out a laugh, he smiles "of course I'll go on a date with you" He gets back up on his feet and picks me up. I wrap my arms and legs around him, hugging him tightly.
