5 days ago I met my brother. Between the phone calls and the texting I've learned so much about him. We're similar in so many ways, we like the same music and the same food. We have some of the same hobbies. Also, he's a weirdo, and he's hilarious. I wish I met him sooner, but I can't explain how glad I am he's in my life now. I like having family, family that I share the same blood with. I love my dad's so much, but I also love this. 

*ding* my phone buzzes

Samuel🖤: Come to LA, I can fly you out and back. 

Me: I'll have to talk to my dad's about it. 

Samuel🖤: Okay, let me know 

Me: will do

I slide my phone into my pocket and head downstairs to speak with my dads. They're sitting on the couch.  "Hey" I sit next to my papa. "Hey sweetie" "Hey" They say "Can I go to LA?" I ask "Sam said he'll fly me out and back" They look at each other then back to me. "I think that'd be fine" My dad smiles "For how long though?" My papa asks, "I don't know" I say honestly, "Well as long it's not too long because you'll be moving there in August for school anyways and me and your dad want to spend time with you before then" My papa explains, "Yeah, I know... " I say,  "Okay, let him know" My dad says "Okay" I smile brightly and get off the couch, heading back up to my room.

I get my phone out and text Sam

Me: hey I can come :)

It takes about an hour for him to respond

Samuel🖤: alright start packing, I'll have you on the next flight out here

Me: well how much do I need to pack? You never told me how long I'm staying...

Samuel🖤: just pack a toothbrush and your girly things

Me:what, why?

Samuel🖤: I'll buy you everything you need plus your yee yee clothes ain't it chief lol

Me:don't talk about my clothes lmao

Samuel🖤: just being honest cowguurl 😂 just get your things together

Me:okay lol

Sam does what he said. My flight leaves in 2 and a half hours and it's currently 5 in the morning, my alarm just went off. I get up and throw on some black joggers, my Thrasher hoodie and my checkered vans. I go into the bathroom and brush my teeth then straighten my hair really quick. I check really quick that I got everything I need, I'm bringing my hair bush, toothbrush, a change of clothes, my charger, earbuds and some snacks just a bag of funyuns, a honey bun, and a Dr. Pepper. Everything is my little back pack. I grab a pop tart and pop it in the toaster. Then check the time, it's 5:37am. "Hey papa, you ready to go?" I call out, he's in the living room "Yes" He answers, yawning

I'm now on the plane, Sam got me first class seats... And it's so nice. The seat is pretty comfy so I fall asleep quickly. It's also a 3 hour flight. I wake up to a person shaking me softly, it's an older woman, she's a flight attendant. I take one of my earbuds out so I can hear what she's saying. "We're bout to land sweetheart" She leaves with a smile, praise the lord it wasn't a bitchy flight attendant. I stretch and yawn then take my phone out and check the time, it's 8:13 am. Wait what? Oh never mind, 2 hour jet lag... Right...When we land I text Sam

Me:landed

Samuel🖤:okay, I'm here

I walk in the same direction as everyone else. I look around and spot him pretty quickly. He's tall as fuck! I start walking towards him... He's still looking around, when I get like 15 feet away I call his name. He turns around my direction and spots me. He smiles widely and speed walks to me, Scooping me up into a hug, I laugh. He sets me down and points down at me, "Holy shit you're short" He laughs, "Shut the hell up, I know this" I laugh and smack his hand. "Okay, common before the traffic gets too too bad." He says and starts walking. We get to his car and oh my god it's really nice, it's a gorgeous white hummer. We hop in, he starts the car and looks over at me. "You look emo as fuck" He chuckles, "Oh yeah" I giggle looking down at myself, my whole outfit is pretty much all black and I have my hood up.
