Athena's POV

I roll over waking up out of another nightmare. They're pretty consistent ever since I was taken. It's always the same dream, I wake up in that man's house. I try to get out of the ropes he has me tied in before he gets there, but I always fail. He comes in pushing a man with a sack over this face and hands tied behind his back to walk forward. He tells the man to get on his knees. He removes the sack covering his face and reveals Sam. His face is bloody and bruised. Like he's been constantly beaten for days. We always end up in a screaming battle, me fighting to get free from the ropes and save Sam, but at the end of the dream the man always kills Sam.

"Athena," Val calls my name. I look over to the chair he's sitting in beside the bed. "Another dream?" He asks, standing up. I nod and he walks over to me. Sitting on the bed beside me. He puts and soothing hand on my back and rubs. "It's going to be okay." He says softly, I sigh not feeling like the dream will ever stop.

I got up a little while later and took a shower. Getting ready for the day, I can't just lay and rot. Besides Sam's cousins are coming today and I'm excited to meet them. I know they're his dads nephews but Sam told me that they already think of me as family because I'm his sister. Plus we're going to be living together anyways.

I pick out a band tee to wear with a little black skirt and just stay in scocks.

I make my way downstairs, Val came down while I was getting ready. Sam and all the other guys including Gabby, and Andrea included are away on a run which I think is all the way in Georgia. They left last night knowing that Phoenix, Elwin and Jaxton would be here today. Val stayed to fill the guys in.

I go and sit on the couch with Leia and Amalia. I looked for Val but couldn't find him. "I think he went out to fetch Sammy's cousins from the airport." Leia tells me grabbing my hand Sam gave Angel permission to tell Leia what happened to me but nothing about the Aztecs. She just knows that I was kidnapped then Sam and Val found me. I guess he doesn't trust Amalia enough to let Alex tell Amalia. "Oh okay, I was wondering where he was." I say, "I know girl you look like a lost puppy. What's the matter?" Amalia says, I ignore her question and get up to go into the kitchen. Leia follows shortly after me.

"You okay?" She asks, coming to hug me at the sink. "Yeah, just these nightmares won't go away." I tell her, seeing the vision of Sam dying flashing in my mind. I squeeze my eyes and lay my head on her shoulder letting out a cry. "It's gonna be alright Athena." She consoles me. We stand there a minute until I let go. Wiping the tears off my face. "Thank you, I needed that." I say giving her a soft smile. She smiles back, "I'm always here for you."

"I was making cheeseburgers for when the boys get here. I bet they will be hungry after their flight. Want to help?" I ask her. She agrees and we work together to make them. I get the meat out of the fridge and she makes a salad for the side. I season the meat and cook it. She cut up tomato and lettuce too. I put that on their burgers and plate it up for them.

We finish just in time, while I am putting together the last burger Val walks into the kitchen with three guys following him. They're all tall like the rest of the boys, the one in the middle is actually taller which is crazy considering Val is the tallest out of all the guys.

They introduce themselves to me and Leia. "I'm Elwin," says the one to the right, he's got pretty long hair and facial hair. The one in the middle says he's Phoenix. He reminds me of Sam his hair slicked back neatly and he's wearing a suit. The last one to introduce himself is Jaxton. His hair is buzzed and he has a sleeve of tattoos.
