"You have about five minutes before I break down that door, throw you over my shoulder, and drag you out of this house." Aiden growled impatiently from the other side of the bathroom door.
I rolled my eyes in annoyance as I applyed a layer of lipstick to my lips. He had been complaining for the last 30 minutes, saying that I had been in the bathroom for an eternity.
"You know patience is a virtue," I bit back.
"Well angel in case you haven't noticed, I'm not the virtuous one around here." he said sarcastically.
I scoffed and pulled the tight black fabric of my dress up and centered it. I took one last glance at the mirror. My natural caramel waves cascaded down my back, nearly touching my butt. My grey eyes pale, but I noticed something different in the girl who stood before me. She had a purpose, a new sense of life within her. She was stronger.
I took a breath before turning the handle on the bathroom door and stepping into his carpeted room. He was pacing back and forth, but stopped dead in his tracks, eyes raking over my body. I suddenly felt like I was under a microscope, as if he were judging and inspecting every part of me.
"I look stupid don't I? I knew I should've worn the other dress." I turned around ready to walk back into the bathroom before he caught my hand and spun me back around.
He held my arms firmly in his hands, but he loosened his grip, still paranoid of hurting me. One hand left my arm and moved towards my face. He tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. My chest rose and fell as the familiar burn spread across my skin wherever he touched me.
He inched forward slowly, hesitantly. I grew impatient very soon. I freed my other arm from his grip and wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Don't be afraid." I whispered close to his ear.
He seemed conflicted. As if he were fighting an inner battle with himself that no one could see. But he complied, touching his lips to mine. I pulled him closer into my body, needing to feel him all around me. His hands moved to my hips as he nipped at my bottom lip. A soft groan emanating from his chest.
And the his phone rang, causing us both to jump. I laughed softly and motioned for him to pick up.
He brought the phone to his ear and began to talk. "Yea we will be there soon, we got a bit distracted."
I shook my head as he shoved the phone back into his pocket. His eyes moved up and down my body once more.
"We better get out of here before I decide to throw you onto the bed and rip that dress to shreds." his eyes darkened as he licked his lips.
I blushed slightly and walked forward, placing a soft kiss onto his cheek. I took his hand in mine and began leading him through the house and to the front door. His grip tightened around my hand when the door came into view, and then I remembered the blindfold.
I sighed softly, letting go of his hand and closing my eyes, waiting for the cool fabric to touch my face. But it never came. I heard the lock click, followed by a warm breeze hitting my body. Slowly I opened one eye. He stood in the doorway, hand outstretched in my direction.
I stepped forward and placed my hand in his once more, he entwined our fingers and pulled me to the driveway. He walked me to the passenger side of the SUV and even opened my door for me, helping me into the car. He followed suit moments later.
I stayed quiet during the drive, just taking in my surroundings. The house was secluded to say the least. Trees surrounded the perimeter, their leaves had already begun changing colors. It took a while before I began to see familiar surroundings. We pulled up to the club faster than I expected, and not just any club. It was where I met Aiden, that night, right before he took me.
