When the class caught the news of Midoriya in nearly midnight, they rushed to the hospital and found his room.
Except for Bakugo.
They found him still asleep with other kids. "Deku-kun!" Uraraka ran up to his bed, holding his hand with worried face.
"Midoriya/Midori!" They cried.
"Sssh!" The nurse who's looking after the kids included him, stared at them with stern look. "Keep your voice down!"
"Our apologize," lida bowed politely before pursued his classmates to keep quiet during their visit.
"Sensei," Yaoyorozu looked at their homeroom teacher who's sitting on the chair beside the bed and been quiet the whole time. "What happen?"
"Is Midoriya broke his bones again?"
"Is he sick?"
"Is he having a seizure?!"
"Please remain calm," lida comforted them. "Let Aizawa-sensei explain things to us."
They listened and looked at their teacher with worried, concern and bit of panicked across their faces.
"Do any of you heard about the missing children?" their homeroom teacher questioned them.
"We heard from the news," Sero answers as they nodded. Then their expression changed to confusion, wondering why their teacher ask them about it.
"Why do you ask sensei?"
Aizawa looked hesitant and looked at them with serious expression that caught their attention fully.
Their teacher never looked hesitant before which is rare since they knew that he's always a serious and hardworking pro hero.
He always blunt, never hesitant to talk and seeing him with that expression for the first time meaning something happen.
"Sensei?" Mina called out to him.
"The detective recently found out the villain kidnapped children with the same dates and birthdays," he finally told them. "Different ages doesn't matter to the villain."
"Sensei," Hagakure sound scared. "Why are you telling us this?"
"I wanted all of you to keep an eye on problem child," he replied.
Their eyes widened and even more confused. "What? Why?" Shinsou questioned.
"Problem child is in danger," he revealed to them. "The childrens went missing have the same birthdays as he does; 15th July."
Uraraka, lida, Todoroki and Tsuyu widened their eyes. They remember when they first visit Midoriya's home, they get to known his mother and talked to them about his birthday during young.
It was four weeks ago before this.
"Sensei... please tell us," Uraraka muttered aloud. "That's not true."
"Maybe there's a mistake," Todoroki looks desperate rather with his usual stoic face. "There has to be!"
"Unfortunately it isn't," disagrees Aizawa, frowning. "Detective Naomasa confirmed it."
"Are you saying that Midoriya and the children are the targets?" Yaoyorozu realized this after watching them. "Midoriya-chan is born in 15th July," Tsuyu croaked sadly, watched as their eyes widened with realization.
"No... no way..." Kirishima wanted to deny it but couldn't say anything further. "Midoriya.... he is-"
"Which is why I ask the principal about this and he agreed," Aizawa explains. "I wanted all of you to make sure problem child is here with the kids and if anything strange happen, call me."
They nodded, processed those words. Midoriya, the love of their lives is in great danger and wondering how does it happen.
Why does he's in the hospital? He was asleep in his dorm room that night.
"What are you going to do sensei?" Ojiro asked after their teacher rose from the chair.
"I need to find that villain," Aizawa narrowed his eyes, remembering the villain upclose that fateful night. "And I need some answers."
Then he walked away.
Leaving his frightened yet protective students behind with Midoriya sleeping still in his bed.
At faraway, the creature's glowing eyes are slits and shrieked. With countless of sleeping children in the bubbles.
