The Past (2)

Aya is having a fun time playing with the kids that she didn't come home until they departed by near dawn.

For the first time, she let out a big smile and looking forward to the next morning. Even though she's nearly at the age of adult, she doesn't stopped herself from playing with them.

Aya sees kids as innocent and defenseless human beings that doesn't know the cruel reality of outside world.

She was afraid that this world will tainted them just like adults does and she was also afraid that those children will get to experienced the childhood like she does.

She fully believe that grudge will always with her, clinging closely and remind about the past of her shattered relationship with her parents.

She doesn't want that.

Not when she found something that makes her happy. So happy that she would do anything to protect them.

So she planned everything.

She try to find a job and much to her delight, she found herself working as a waiter at the small restaurant. She quit being a prostitute and clean herself from smoking and alcohol.

She even work out so her body will fit, find a suitable apartment and clothes.

Shiro paused, running his hand over his hair and hesitate for moment before opened his mouth.

She tried to ask the children to live together with her or get a sleepover but they refused, stating that they shouldn't follow strangers.

Aya is outraged.

Not because of them but she think that they've been manipulated by the families. Controlling their minds and bodies, Aya grow to hated them.

She would do anything to save them.

Anything!

Or else they'll be lost forever!

So she kidnapped them.

Four children been missing and last seen at the playground, witness reported that they have seen a silver haired girl leading them to the street.

It's only been few hours that they've found them and arrested Aya for abducting them.

Aya is yelling and screaming, begging them to take them back. Because of that, she still keep her job but the rumors spread after her being in jail.

When she released, families are wary of her and warn their children to stay away from her. Her parents althought upset but still try to win their daughter's trust and shows an affectionate.

However, Aya won't budge.

Her distrust and disgust can be show on her face, sneering at them and wish them to stay away. It's really break their heart to see their daughter shows no shame, did not trust them and avoid them.

Due to her fail attempted to take the children under her protection, she often play her old dolls and pretend that they're alive.

She carry them, wash them, playing, dancing and even singing. The parents feared that she starting to distant from reality, doesn't know which one is real and worse, her obssessed of children are grow continuosly.

She threw tantrum whenever they tried to take her dolls away, glaring and to see her curled protectively with crazed gaze make their hearts broke.

That is when they decided to sent her to asylum. Aya expectedly refused, screaming when they take her away from the dolls.

The mother sobbed, wondering what they did wrong and the father comforted her as they knew what they did in the past.

Aya is neglected.

Loveless.

Careless.

Distrust.

They failed as her parents.

Aya pay the price.

It's been almost a year that Aya been sent to the asylum and her only possession is her lone old doll.

A doll with long blond hair, dull green eyes, white dress and missing arm.

Aya is so humiliated and dazed that she stay like that forever.

Until she met a man.

A man who's a doctor and her eyes gazing to the brilliant green eyes.

Her heart is pounding.

Never in her life, she never shows interest to any men and here she is, staring at the kind doctor who's smiling and comforted the patients.

She thought she could finally had a happy ending with the love of her life and have kids together.

But one day changes everything.
