"That's it?" Aizawa speak up after minutes of silence. "Is that all you could tell us?"

"Forgive me," Shiro lowered his head. "She didn't say anything after that."

"So you're saying that she's telling the truth?" Naomasa questioned. "Please believe me," the patient said. "Moth- I mean, Aya was a woman who only adored children and you should knew how deep she is, willing to go after the children."

Naomasa stared, using his quirk for awhile now and confirmed that he's telling the truth.

"You don't believe me...?" Shiro asked hesitantly.

"We do believe you," the police nodded. "It takes a lot to take all of this and we're dealing with a villain that's death, quirkless and a demon nonetheless."

"I see..."

"What about the children?" Yagi asked. "Are they all right? Are they safe?"

Shiro flinched and grimaced.

"...She killed them."

Their blood run cold.

"What?" Aizawa breathes. "I thought you said she adored children. Why would she-"

"Because they grown up."

"Explain," the underground hero urged.

"When the kids grew up to adulthood, she hated them like I told you before and lead them to their death by feeding themselves to dogs."

"What dogs?"

They have a bad feelings about this.

"Hellhound."

"Shit," Aizawa run his hand through his hair and his heart started beating at the thought of facing against them.

"By god..." Yagi choked out blood with widened eyes.

"This is bad," Naomasa is also paled at this revelations. "How did you managed to survive all of this?"

"I have to survived," Shiro looked so exhausted, upset and stressed. "I-I couldn't save them..." then he sobbed, curled his body with his arms around his legs. "I lost my best friend... I failed to save them... it's my fault..."

"Young lad," Yagi put his hand on his shoulder. "It's not your fault-"

"YES IT IS!" He shouted make him startled and stepped back. Tears falling from his eyes and his body is trembling.

"I was the one who planned this! I was the one who convinced them to escape that fucking hell place! It's my fucking fault that my best friend die right in front of me!"

"Hikari-san..." Naomasa mumbled.

"Because of me, I let my friend die... I ran away like a fucking coward... I ran away so I can escape both her and their deaths!" Shiro cries. "It should've been me instead! I am the one that supposed to die that day! But she let me live!"

"Young Hikari," Yagi looked upset and angry. Upset that a survivor blamed himself and angry that a demon tormenting him. To remind him that his friend's death is his fault as if he held the blood in his hands.

Naomasa looked guilty for bringing up the painful memories. "I am sorry Hikari-san," he apologizes. "I didn't mean to-"

"Leave me alone," Shiro weeps, refused to looked up. "Just leave me the fuck alone!"

"I am very sorry," the police stand up, signalled the two heroes to follow along. Giving one last glance, they walked out from the room.

"...I shouldn't have asked him," Naomasa stressed. "You didn't know," Yagi reassured. "Tomorrow we'll visit him again and you can apologize afterward."

Little did they know as they walked away, Todoroki is hiding and overheard the conversation. He can only listened to his newfound uncle crying and sobbing.

Inside the room, Shiro doesn't care about his surrounding and coughed a little. The demon inside his head didn't say anything and only watched with the smallest smirk.

Humans sure are entertaining.
