Back Story of How This Story Started

After watching the live action and anime version, reading the manga and novel version, I felt a bit discontented. I wasn't satisfied with lots of things in the whole original story. So I said to myself "I need to give them what they deserve. And so I started to write this fanfiction.

First thing I wanted so bad was to be Wuxian's sister😂 Yes. Wei Bai He is a representation of myself. I want him to have what he didn't have since the beginning. His own real family. And since both his parents were already dead, there's no other way but to give him a sibling. And that's when I came in.

Next was Yanli and Zixuan. Damn! Who here doesn't want them to live? I know we all wanted to see them alive and be with their son. So I gave them life and the opportunity to be there during Jin Ling's growth.

Then my first hetero ship, Jiang Cheng and Wen Qing. I feel like they could've been a great couple but just wasn't given a chance. Their characters are a power couple. And of course, we don't want Jiang Cheng to be jealous of Wuxian anymore, so he also deserves a son. Hence, Feng Zi. A tribute to his parents.

Wen Ning marrying Bai He is because of a very good reason. He is my cql bias😋

Yang is a representation of what I wanted to see Wuxian do during his young days. A free spirited version of Wuxian.

XueXiao is a must ship.

XuanLan is a rare ship that I think I'm the only one who thinks their character really compliments each other.

XiYao is a ship that deserved to sail and to complete their happiness, I gave them Jingyi.

I prolonged Mingjue's life so he could see his little brother get married and have a family of his own.

Wangji moved to Yiling with Sizhui and formed a happy family with Wuxian is probably what most of has has ever wanted.

And finally, I freed Lan Qiren from his strict, scary self and had him interact a bit closer with the others.

With this story, I put everything I wanted to happen and turned them into words. I shared it here in hopes to find other MDSZ fans who also enjoys this kind of plot.

And now that the first part has come to an end, it is now time for us to let go of the past. Let's now move on and leave what we have to leave behind. Although we want them to always be together, living a happy life as one big family, there are things that are just not meant to continue. And there are things that needs to go on without the others. They may not be complete anymore, but I promise to give justice to the remaining characters on the next part of this story.

So now, let's all say goodbye to Book1 and welcome Book2.
