It's the night before the first day of school, tomorrow I start my first day of grade 7. No, it's not the top of the school food chain, but it's one year closer. I have an urge to grow up, I think i'm ready to get out into the world, or, at least, elementary school. My new backpack is slouching at the foot of my bed, filled with all my school supplies. I still have my dad's old crappy blackberry as an excuse for a phone. Honestly I just cast it aside and use my ipad for texting, Snapchat and even Instagram. I pull out my ipad from under a stack of blank papers on my desk and open Snapchat. I click my group chat with friend group B 'SOS tm'. It's not actually trade marked, we just call it It's the night before the first day of school, tomorrow I start my first day of grade 7. "Hey guys," I type "So we have to go back to hell tomorrow but I was just wondering if we are continuing the roleplay? It was surprisingly kinda fun but it might be different since we took a two month break." I click send and see Ren's bitmoji pops up from the top of the keyboard and she starts typing. "Yeah, we can do it if you want" appears on the screen and her bitmoji disappears. I type "Okay" and switch off my Ipad. I check my backpack one more time just to make sure I have everything. Binder, check, packed lunch bag, check, gym clothes, check. I think I'm all ready for tomorrow and honestly I'm over the moon for seeing Gwen. It's been two months and I think that it's about time I see her.
I wake up the next morning to my mom shaking me awake.
"Wake up my little turtle! It's the first day of school!" She's got half of her hair up and the other half falling down her shoulders. She was in the middle of doing her hair. I smile at her and start to sit up. She leaves my room leaving the door open. I stand up and drag myself over to the door and push it closed. I sigh and get dressed. I'm going to see Gwen today. I smile to myself and continue getting ready.I walk down the field with Bea and Tatiana.
"I can't believe we are already back in this hell!" Tatiana exclaims
"It's not that bad" I say. I see Gwen smiling at me from across the field. I smile back. Bigger than I meant to.
"Bye guys!" I yell while I run to Gwen.
"Hey!" Gwen says "how was your summer?"
"It was good! How about you?"
"It was good!" The rest of the friend group shows up and we talk a bit before the teachers start to announce the classes.
My class is really good! Only one person from the friend group is in a different class. Maggie. Which isn't good that she's all alone but at least the other six of us are together.
The day flies bye and I'm missing summer more and more every minute. I'm glad I get to see Gwen and the gang though, that's something I'm happy with.
Authors Note. Hey guys! I'm really sorry that this is so late and short but I was having computer problems and I was busy with babysitting and homework. Thanks for being so patient and remember that we do have a schedule but we might stray from it now and then due to school work and extra curriculars
