Early morning came, and the teenagers raced the sun to get a move on. They packed their things and ate their breakfast on the way.

Solar was in front, looking at the map Tarung gave him, his share of sweet bread chomped tight in his mouth. He examined the map carefully.

" So we're going with the plan we discussed yesterday? " Quake asked, looking at the map too.

Solar nodded, or he had no use of speaking with the bread in his mouth. Quake understood the gesture and nodded back.

They trekked the forest for what seemed like hours, but it was actually 30 minutes. Not long after, Gopal needed a rest, and so did the others.

" Wuhuhuhu..... What a pain of a mission this is... I wanted the have my mom's curry today... " Gopal whined, chugging down his water. Before he could finish it, Cyclone snatched it away.

" Hey! " Gopal said. Cyclone smiled at him as he waved Gopal's water bottle left and right.

" It's only been a few minutes and you're already whining! Pull yourself together! We'll get there eventually! Also, don't finish your water supply so quickly. We'll need it later too, " Cyclone said with no annoyance. He still kept his smile and it made Gopal feel at ease.

Gopal sighed. " Okay.... " he mumbled. Cyclone smiled teethily and pat Gopal on the back, also giving him his bottle back.

" So we're all rested now? Let's continue our journey then.... " Fang said.

Leaf P.O.V

We've gone for a few minutes after our last break. Though it may seem tiresome, I personally am enjoying what I'm seeing.

The tall trees and the colourful flora and fauna all around us, the sunlight peeking through the leaves of the trees and the fresh air of the early morning! How pleasant!

As a nature mage, it is my duty to love all plants and use them right after all.

I looked to my right to see Sol-Sol studying the map with much concentration. He still hadn't finished his bread yet!

I chuckled at the sight and went closer to him. " You should eat your breakfast, Solar, " I said to him.

He looked at me and took the bread out of his mouth, smiling at me. " I need to study the map, Leaf. I can't be leading to death traps, " he said.

I innocently pouted at him. " But you need your breakfast! That's what you always say to me, isn't it! " I shot back, but he simply giggled at my little outburst.

" Okay, okay. You're right. I'll take a break from the map and eat my breakfast, " he said. He put away the map and finally bit into the bread. I beamed happily at him.

" Nice, Leaf. I had wanted to try telling him me'self, but it seems like you've gotten the job done! " Blaze said next to me. Ice nodded with him.

I laughed with them, so did Solar. Nothing seems to be going bad right now. What could go wrong?
