" We've... Entered a magic-forbidden area..... "

Quake, Cyclone, Fang and the twins gasped quietly at Thunder's discovery. How could they be so careless as to walk into a magic-forbidden area?

Cyclone shook his head to try and rid of the headache pounding in his head. With Thunder's support on his left side, he tried to lift himself up on his right.

Thunder felt his movement and immediately fell a little weaker and his legs almost gave way. Cyclone gasped at the sudden drop.

" T... Thunder...! " he said in concern. Thunder sighed and put himself back on his feet.

" I'm fine, " he said, a little grimace appearing on his face for a split second. " Save your energy, Cyclone. We cannot waste it. "

Cyclone nodded at him in response but didn't feel safe for being so helpless. Blaze choked out some sickening coughs he struggled to hide.

" How.. How can we be so weak as to fall into such a trap?! " he complained, a few more coughs forcefully escaping him.

Ice sighed as he rubbed his twin's back. " Be.. Being a mage isn't always sunshine and rainbows, Blaze.... We need to get out of here, " he said.

His comrades agreed but were a little too weak to take immediate action. Thunder thought of setting Cyclone down next to Quake and go get Fang when they heard a noise.

" Do.. Do you hear that? " Quake asked, putting his hand on his pounding head. They saw nothing approaching them, so maybe it was just the weakness getting to them.

Thunder quickly dismissed it and walked to Fang. Before he could take hold of his hand, they heard the noise again. Their heads shot to the direction of the noise.

" What is that noise? " Cyclone scolded quizzically and annoyed as he rubbed his temples.

The noise seemed to become clearer and clearer every second. Now they knew what it was. " It's growling, " Quake said with fear.

They shot their heads everywhere they could. Thunder looked forward into the darkness, and saw evil looking shiny yellow eyes.

His eyes widened and looked around for some sort of solution. Fang was the closest to the entrance of the cave, and he was only affected by a little bit.
" Fang, " Thunder said urgently. Fang looked at him. " Run away. Use the distress spell. Now. "

" What? I can't just leave you! " Fang protested. But Thunder's authoritative expression made him back down.

" Go. Now! " Thunder said. Fang was still hesitant, but he quickly turned around and limped as fast as he could away from them.

Cyclone shakily turned to Thunder, who had his sword at the ready.
" What's wrong, Thunder? " he asked.

Thunder glanced at him, his expression ringing with the signs of protection towards him. He turned back to the darkness before them.

" We're not alone in here. "

Solar's team walked into the cave. One person of each side, to cover more ground. They saw nothing so far, Gopal of all people was relieved by that.
