Chapter 6

Marin was dreading school.

He could only imagine the stares, and the gossiping whispers of the girls. But he'd live.
Marin was sure of that,
but it would be the worst day of his life. Hopefully Chloé would be more empathetic since her own friend had been changed.

He was wrong.

Chloé was as bratty and mean as ever.
The only difference was that now Saren (Sabrina) wasn't forced into doing anything for her.
One the contrary, Chloé treated the pale boy as an equal.

Now they both laughed at him equally.

Chloé's perfectly done ponytail bobbed at her donkey-like laughter.
Saren now looked like an uber-cocky jock.
They made the ultimate power couple.

A power couple of cliches.

The mayor's daughter haughtily walked to her seat with a bratty smirk.
She turned her face to him, her bright blue eye shadow melting Marin's eyes.

"Oh look! The princess has turned into a frog!!" She brayed.

Marin's face flushed, and he tried to shield his head in his arms.

A feminine, (but somewhat familiar), voice rang out,

"Fuck off Chloé."
Marin lifted his porcelain face to the speaker. The dark-haired male gasped in awe.

"Nathan!?"
