The dark-haired male walked back to class solemly.
When he opened the door, he saw everybody crowding around Alya, who was playing a video on her phone.
"What's going on?" The pale boy asked.

Alya pointed the phone to Marin.

It showed Chat Noir running into a room, and after a second,

Adrien walked out.

"N-no!" Marin exclaimed, "This can't be right! Alya! Please don't post this on the LadyBlog!"

"Why wouldn't I?"

"Well you wouldn't post Rena Rouge transforming, would you?"

"Fine." She said, Marin knew that would hit a soft spot.

But he couldn't hold back his frustration any longer.

He held his head, and his pale fingers gripped his scalp. Blobby tears rolled down his porcelain face.
He whimpered.

With awkward timing, Adrien walked in.
"Hey guys!" He said cheerfully, "What's...up?"
He went to a lower voice when he saw Marin clenching his head.

The blonde boy walked over.
"What's wrong?"

Marin's bluebell eyes, still wet with tears, met Adrien's shining, caring, and concerned green eyes.
Adrien was trying to be sympathetic, even though he didn't know what was happening.
Alya mouthed, I don't know, to the the tan blonde.
The male had an idea, but it probably wouldn't work.

The two would probably stop being friends altogether.

He could let his Chat Noir shine through.

Or he could...

Alya interrupted his thoughts to show him the video. He was surprised, but it explained Marin's stress. Before the Gendabenda, Marinette had told Chat Noir countless reasons for why she'd had a crush on Adrien Agreste.

"He's just so amazing!" She'd said, then looked down, "If only he would notice me..."
Chat Noir had been confused.

He'd never known Marinette had had feelings for him.

"W-well..." He had stuttered, "Why do you like him? Is it because he's rich?"

"Well," she'd said, slightly annoyed, "When he first came to school, I hated him. But one day, in the rain, even though he knew he would be soaked, he gave me his umbrella. And he's so kind and loving. He's so childishly ignorant..."

"And you know what, I wouldn't care if he was as poor or homeless, I would still love him."

She had looked to him, who was very confused, and red as a tomato, and said,

"You wouldn't understand kitty."

She had gently grabbed Chat Noir's head, to kiss his forehead, and said goodbye.
