The Gendabenda [COMPLETED]

Chapter 9

"But if the villian shot you from the stomach," Alya questioned, "Why didn't you see them?"
Nathalie shrugged and looked to the side.

"Well, I mean, I'll still post this, but there's nothing really Ladybug-y about this. Other than the akuma I guess..."
Alya rambled on about her blog, and the twosome attempted to escape. They quietly snuck away from the orange-haired girl and ran into another problem.

Marin saw the supervillain aiming at Alya Cesaire from the roof tops.
The villian's face was blue and pink, and a black hoodie with a blue trim that covered their eyes.
Curly purple hair tumbled out of her hood, and fell to their mid-chest.
They dipped what he guessed to be the akuma object, a pencil-like crossbow, in a blue liquid.

"Let's split up." Marin said to the fiery-haired female beside him.
She nodded, and Marin walked behind the bathroom door to transform.

Ladybug exited just in time to protect Alya from a blue beam of light, hitting him instead.
Good, he thought, now no one will question my being transformed.

Of course, since he'd already been transformed as his alter-ego, the beam had no effect on him.
The orange-haired girl he'd protected looked intensely confused.

"Ladybug?"

He looked to his friend.

"Honestly Alya!" He said, "I'm practically the same person, and I guess its Ladybeetle now."

It was true, Ladybeetle was the same as Ladybug, but there were small differences. His skin-tight suit now had black glove-like patches on each arm, and boot-like patterns reaching a little above his kneecap.

Somebody screamed.

Apparently the beam had bounced off of Ladybeetle to hit a certain lying she-devil.

But all that was lost on her was her eyelashes, pink lips, and long hair.

Lila kept her horse like bangs at the sides of her face, but in the back her short hair twisted into a messy man-bun.

She totally deserved it.

Ladybeetle swung his yoyo to the roof to fight the villian.

The villian gasped.

He could see clearly now that they were female.
The hood bounced as she ran towards him, and for a split second, the bug themed superheroine could see her eyes. One had a female symbol and was pink, and the other was blue with the male insigna.

Hawkmoth must have been feeling creative.

Thick, black leggings covered her legs.
On her right a pink snake swirled up to her thigh, and on the other a blue lion was spread across her left.

She grabbed her weapon and jabbed at Ladybeetle, who was deftly dodging each vicious lunge.

The multi-colored villian dabbed an arrow in pink.

Chat Noir chose this moment to make an entrance.

"Hello My La...dy?"

He sat perched on his staff for a moment. The supervillain aimed as Chat Noir stared blankly at Ladybeetle's chest.

"Watch out Chat!!!

The spotted superhero jumped at Chat Noir before the ray could reach him.

Per usual, Chat Noir landed on top of Ladybeetle. But this time it was way more awkward than the others.

The supervillain ran away from the duo of superheroes who laid on the ground.

"Ladybu-"

Ladybeetle pressed a finger to his partner's tan lips.

"Its Ladybeetle now. Sorry Kitty."

Sorry, I don't know why they came out sideways. 😶 Also I'm sorry for the late update, I was busy with school.
