Chapter 1 ~Her Creation~

~Kaede POV~

     I don't know how I got here. 

     I don't remember how my life was before I was popped up beside a young brunette girl with mix-matched colored eyes looking through a window towards some sort of release poster for a video game. The brunette looked to me and then back to the poster; I decided to take a look of it for myself when I finally noticed what she was looking at... Me. 

     My name is Kaede Akamatsu, but how is it that I -a video game character yet to be released- am real? "You know Kaede," I heard the brunette girl say as she faced me and I faced her, then I figured this girl must be around five years old. "When your video game comes out I'm gonna get it!" The brunette girl called and I looked back to the poster to see that the writing on the bottom had said 'Killing Harmony'.

      "Are you sure you want this game?" I said then covered my mouth. I didn't realize that I could even speak knowing I somehow just got here -or to be more specific, wherever here is. 

      The brunette looked to me and gave me a smile, her eyes sparkling with amazement. "Of course I want the game! I want it so I can get to know your friends!" The brunette said as she pointed to the poster and I looked to all the other characters in it, although since the video game hasn't come out yet I'm not even sure if those people are my friends. "I'm betting that the S-who-eye-c-hi guy is one of your friends!" The brunette continued as she pointed to a character with a hat.

      I giggled as I realized this brunette five year old doesn't know how to read. "It's pronounced Shoe-ee-chi and is spelled S-h-u-i-c-h-i." I corrected her as she gave me a blank stare and back to the poster.

     "Well I dunno how to write, I'm dis many!" The brunette told me as she held up five fingers, which meant I was right to assume she was five. "Also, my name is Catra and you're Kaede!" The brunette informed as she pointed at me. Catra... It's a cute name and it's funny to know that she can read the name 'Kaede' but not 'Shuichi'. I giggled a bit once again as I looked to Catra's beaming face, until a man came out of the store me and Catra were standing in front of and only looked to Catra with a confused expression.

     "Excuse me young girl, but who are you talking to?" The man asked as Catra looked to him and pointed at me once again, but I was starting to think about what the man had said...

     "My new friend, Kaede!" 

     "Kaede Akamatsu? From the poster in the window?"

     Catra nodded with a smile.

     "Ah yes, well I apologize." The man apologized as I heard him say a few other words before going back into the store. "Kids imaginations these days." 

     I'm Catra's friend... Imaginary friend... I'm seen through her eyes... I wonder how her parents will react to this when she introduces me to them. I lean down to Catra's ear so only she can hear me, although I guess I only wanted to whisper it since she thinks I'm real. "Are you going to show me to your parents?" I whispered as I noticed Catra's face starting to grow a panicked reaction. 

     "U-um, s-s-s-sure! Th-they live th-th-this way." Catra replied to me with multiple stutters as I thought that she could more than likely be lying about where her parents live or that she'll introduce me to them. "L-l-l-let's go Kaede!" Catra called as she grabbed my hand and led me to wherever we were gowing. We walked passed many shops and I noticed Catra's face growing a bit more panicked at the moment however I gave a tap on her shoulder and once she looked to me, I gave her a warm smile. 

     "I'm sure you're parents will like me so don't be worried, ok?" I assured her as she smiled and nodded to me after seeming as though she had been thinking about it for a moment. We continued walking until we had reached a house that seemed two stories tall and I heard Catra take a deep breath as she squeezed my hand and led me into the house as she opened the door with the key she grabbed from her pocket. 

     When we entered the house, I looked around and saw a doorframe where a living room stood in and I saw a young blonde haired girl sitting on a carpet watching TV. "I'm home!" Catra announced and the blonde jumped from the floor and headed towards Catra with a beaming smile.  

(A/N) Another multitask story in my jumble of stories to write! I know this is a pretty fast chapter but this story is based off of a story I wrote in school and I thought that it should be turned into an actual story. 💖

The next chapter will be coming sometime later in the month as the same goes for my other stories!
