chapter 24

Lily's POV

One year has passed and today was Halloween. My favorite holiday. Remy was now one year old.

Remy started to talk ever since he had ten months.

"Remy! Remy where are you!?" I yelled. I entered the living room and saw Remy and Leo watching space heroes.

"Hey mama" Remy waved.

"Hey Lily!" Leo said without looking away from the tv.

"Hey!" I replied, "Remy you didn't finish your pizza."

"But there's a new episode of space heroes" Remy whined.

"Go bring your pizza over here" Leo said.

"Yes, sir" Remy said and went to the kitchen.

"Like father, like son." I said.

"Yep" Leo responded. "Come here" i kneeled down next to him. He hugged me and kissed my forehead. "Lily i wanted to ask you something."

"What is it?" I asked.

"Will-"

"Family hug!" Remy interrupted. He put down his plate and hugged Leo and i. We laughed and i hugged Remy.

"Eat your pizza Remy" i said. He grabbed his plate and sat on top of Leo.

"What were you going to tell me?" I asked Leo.

"I'll tell you later." He said.

(Time jump)

Did i ever tell you why i love Halloween? I love Halloween because the turtles and us can go topside and nobody would notice that were mutants.

"Guys!" I yelled. They all entered the living room and sat down on the couch.

"What do you want?" Raph asked.

"Were going trick or treating!" I said.

"Were mutants Lily. How are we gonna buy costumes?" Mikey asked.

"We don't have to but costumes." I responded, "humans will think we have costumes"

"Brilliant idea sis"  Rayden said.

"Were going trick or treating? Topside? Humans?" Remy said with scareness in his eyes.

"It isn't that bad. You will have fun! I promise" i said to Remy while sitting down next to me and hugging him.

"We're going topside in 30 minutes for Halloween, so get ready?" I demanded.

(Time jump)

"Let's go guys!" I yelled waiting for them. Everybody was ready to leave, but i didn't see Remy.

"Remy! Remy!" I yelled.

"I'll go get him." Leo said. Leo left and walked to our room. I sat down on the couch waiting for Leo and Remy. When Leo came back there was no Remy next to him. "He says he's scared."

"Why is he scared?" Mikey asked.

"It's going to be his first time going topside, idiot." Raph responded.

"I'll go" Mikey said.

Mikey left and returned in a few seconds with Remy on his neck.

"We're all ready?" I asked.

"YES!" They all yelled.

"Then let's get going!" We left the lair and went topside.

Remy was very surprised by the city. "Let's go! I want to go trick or treating!" Remy said.

"Okay, let's go knock on some doors!" Donnie said.

(Time jump)

We already knocked about 23 doors and filled a garbage bag. Remy was so happy! He said it was his favorite holiday.

We walked to an apartment. "Lily... Guys. Wait. I need to say something." Leo said. We looked at him. "Come here Lily"

I walked up to him and he grabbed my hand. His hand was so warm.

"I just want to say" Leo began, "remember i had to tell you something."

I nodded. He knelt on one knee and with his other hand took out something from his belt. It was a black, soft box. And he opened the box. It was a gold ring.

"Will you marry me?" I gasped at those words. He asked me to marry him.

"Y-Yes" i responded. i felt tears streaming down my face. He put the ring on my ring finger and he stood up. I kissed him.

"Eeww" Remy said. I looked at him and laughed. "Why are you crying mom?"

"They're happy tears" i said while wiping my tears with a face.

"Less crying. More geting-candy" Mikey said.

"You're right. Let's go get more candy" i grabbed Leo's hand. We knocked on for 'C-103'.

A girl with red-ish and orange-ish hair. With blue eyes. "Trick-or-treat!" Remy said

"April?" I said.
