Osana and Raibaru were doing the morning routine, when a girl Osana had never seen before came to them.
"Hey ladies!"
"Hi Amai!" Raibaru greeted.
"You know her?" Osana asked.
"I've been here before, remember?"
"Right, right," Osana said, remembering that Raibaru was one year older than her.
"Girls, could you please help me? Saki Miyu is having some problems with cooking, and I can't tell her what she's doing wrong, because I'm no good at being a critic! I tell her it's nice, but such and such, and she takes it as good enough! I need someone who'll tell her the truth!"
"We can do that!" Osana offered
"Oh thank you!" Amai cried, hugging her.
While the cooking club was at work, Raibaru and Osana came to try Saki's dish that she'd made. A soup, her own recipe.
Raibaru tried it first.
"Saki, I think your soup would be better if you seasoned it a bit more. Add some pepper, or maybe some basil."
Next was Osana.
"Pleth! You added WAY too much salt girl! Go easy on it! It tastes like hot salt water!" Saki stares at Osana.
"I don't know what to say... thank you for telling me the truth! What you said was mean, but I needed to hear it. It's better than being under the assumption it's good while nobody likes it!"
Saki boiled another batch the next day, seasoned with less salt.
"I love it! You seasoned it very well Saki!"
"You tuned it down on the overpowering salt, which was a great choice! I like a variety of flavors in my soup."
"Same here, Osana!" Raibaru told her. Almost everyone at Akademi liked the soup too. It wasn't a Master Chef winner, but it was damn good.
"Let's just hope that Saki doesn't need our help every time." Osana commented.
"Agreed"
