We all have our stories of our one 'true love'.
They were the people who made us feel alive.
The very thought of them was enough to make you explode in happiness.
They were the people who made you question everything.
Were you really this way?
Is this what you want?
Are you happy?
They were the people you would drop anything for.
They were the people that came from the most unlikeliest of places.
They were people you would never suspect-maybe even people you didn't want to love. But you did.
And sometimes in the saddest cases-they were the very people who got away.
Do you know what I mean?
The people who you had with you every minute. You talked till the sun came up the next day. They were the people who consumed your thoughts every second of the day to the very moment you fall asleep.
And then-suddenly. They are gone. Torn from your life almost as if they were never there from the start. Wiped clean from the face of Earth.
They are the people who you could have had. But you were foolish and let them go.
They were the people who would have loved you to their final breath.
Oh, but only if you had granted them the chance.
