I turned to face Ronnie. "I'm sorry" I hissed. He shook his head and ran a hand through his hair. "you could have been killed." "But I wasn't and I got the job done." I said. I was trying my best to keep my voice calm and not turn this into an argument. "Why do you never listen to me sera?" He asked. "I did what i thought was best for the group. I want to win this war. Brother you have to trust me." I mumbled. He sighed. "I do." "Then why do you doubt me? You think a mere girl cannot handle this battle?! Believe me I can." "I do not think weak of you sister. All I could do is stare at him. "I can take care of my self." I said quietly. I didn't say it defensively but softly. It touched my heart that he put me before victory. I had to put my point across. I felt like it was more then the fact he felt like he had to protect me. I stopped, I didn't want to assume the worst. I walked out of the meeting room of our base and down the hall to the public quarters of the base. "Is it true?" Mandy asked as she ran up to me. "What?" I asked even though i knew what she was talking about. "There are rumors that you snuck in the shadow base. The enemy!!! And set a bug." "It's true." I said casually. He eyes went big. "That could be a huge turning point for us in this war." "No duh. That's why I did it." "You went they against the leaders orders!!! That's brave." "He's my brother, what's he gonna do?" 8:00pm
I walked through the empty halls of the base. I couldn't sleep my room was cold and my blankets seemed thin. I heard voices coming from one of the rooms I stopped were I stood to listen. "We should have units sneak in there for a mission." It was Ronnie's voice. "That is extremely risky!" This was an Unkown voice. "We need more then what the bug is giving us. It's one microphone. We need more information. Or we can eliminate the shadows." "We can not do that!" "You are not the one in charge!" "Fine! Risk it all. Show me your mission idea." "You will soon agree with me."
