Bree's POV
"You sure she don't know nothing about this?" Jahseh asked. "Yea, we planned it with her not knowing." I replied. As we continued to decorate my house.
"She really didn't want one, but we said fuck that. We need to make more memories with each other." I added and he nodded.
"Ok Bree I'm finna go pick up the cake," Katherine spoke. "Can you pick up AhMelina and Samuel too?" I asked. "I will, I gotta get Josh first, I'ma drop him off here first, hopefully when y'all done then I go pick them up," she explained. "Ok, thank you babes. Be safe out there," I replied, she smiled, nodded and headed out of the house.
Katherine's POV
At the bakery
"Hey I'm here to pick order for Katherine," I spoke and the lady behind the counter nodded at me, she went to grab the cake and handed it to me. I paid for it, got it in a bag and walked out. As soon as I got to the car, my phone started to ring. I unlocked the car, put the cake in the car and pulled out my phone to see who was calling me and it was Joshua.
"Hello," I spoke. "Hey babe I'm at the airport, can you come and get me?" He asked. I got in the car, started it up and drove out the parking lot. "Yea, I'm on my way," I spoke and I hung up the phone and headed to the airport.
Meanwhile at the airport
I sat in the parking lot waiting on Josh to come out. 15 minutes later, he finally walked out and I unlocked the door for him. He put his bag in the backseat then, he got in the front seat. "Hey baby," he smiled. I smiled back and gave him a quick kiss before I drove off.
"So, how was the funeral? I haven't heard from you since then" he asked. "It was good, I was just worried about you the whole time. I had to get Sammy to knock some sense into your brain.. Joshua I can't lose you," I told him as I looked at him and looked back at the road. "I love you, no actually I'm in love with you and I'm scared for your life because of the dumb shit you're doing," I explained.
"I'm sorry baby, I stopped like I promised." He explained, "thank you," I stated. "I'm in love with you too my lil baby," he said as he reached over towards me and gave me a soft kiss on my neck. "Stop I'm driving," I laughed.
"So, I gotta drop you off at the hotel so you can drop your stuff off then , I gotta drop you off at Bree's house. After that, whenever they finish decorating. I will be picking up Samuel and Melina.. and yea." I explained. "But when I drop you off, can you take that cake with you," I asked. "Yea sure, do you know what they having?" He asked. "Nope, we're all are going to be surprised," I stated.
30 minutes later
We finally arrived at the hotel, I gave Joshua my room key so he can settle his things down. He finally came back downstairs. And came back into the car. "Did you run into Sam or Melina?" I asked. "Nope," he answered. "Ok good." I stated as I pulled out of the parking lot and headed straight to Bree's house.
20 minutes later
I pulled up into the drive way and stopped in front of the door. "Alright baby," Josh said as he got out of the car, opened the backseat door and grabbed the cake. "Oh hey Josh," Bree said as she gave him hug. "Hey sis," he replied. "Katherine, everything will be ready in 10 minutes." She told me and I nodded. "Wait actually, I'ma call her and ask if they can stop by real quick," Bree said as she stopped me. I shrugged, "ok thanks," I said as I started the car up and parked it to the side. I turned it off, got out and walked in the house.
