Ryujin hadn't been able to forget Yuna since that night.

She regretted not asking for the girl's number, now that her mind is filled with Yuna. They didn't talk that much because Ryujin was too tipsy and sleepy to do anything. It was only the both of them sitting in silence with stolen glances and small smiles plastered on their faces but Ryujin enjoyed it.

She remembered the disappointment she felt when Yuna thanked her for the company and left without saying anything else other than, "See you."

Everything passed by so fast that the next thing she knew, Yuna was gone. She didn't care, at first but God, she regretted not taking her chances. She just refused to say or do anything that might make the girl run away but it was starting to take a toll on her.

"Jesus, you look horrible." Ryujin recognized that voice and she groaned inwardly as she slammed her head onto the desk. She definitely was in for a ride.

"Still not over the girl?" Chaeryeong deadpanned. It'd been a week since, but Ryujin was the exact same. It's almost like Yuna had broke Ryujin.

Ryujin sighed, "What does it look like?"

Chaeryeong scoffed, hitting the girl with a textbook square on the head which earned a yelp from her.

"If Yeji says she's still in high school, what are the odds that she would be in our district?" Ryujin's head snapped up from the table, wide eyes glanced at Chaeryeong from the realization.

"Damn, you're stupider than I thought." Chaeryeong clicked her tongue.

"Ugh, whatever. See you later." Chaeryeong narrowed her eyes towards the pink-haired girl who got up to leave the class.

"Can you stop skipping school? We're both already held back two grades." Ryujin sighed. She just didn't like... School in general. It wasn't like her parents cared about her anyway. Whatever Ryujin did, it was never enough to garner her parents' attention; bad or good.

"You know I'm done trying, right?" Ryujin looked over her shoulder, her eyes showing the same kind of emotion that Chaeryeong saw before. She gave up and if Chaeryeong could see it in her eyes, anyone can.

"Ryujin, I-"

"It's alright, see you tomorrow." Ryujin gripped onto the straps of her bag and walked away before anyone else saw her, escaping the hallways to leave the school.

Yuna fucked up.

It all happened in a blink of an eye and before she knew it, she was getting chased by a group of bullies from her neighborhood.

"Slow down, you coward!" One of them shouted but it didn't stop Yuna from sprinting down the street, mumbling curse words under her breath. Her foot pounded harshly against the tarred street, avoiding incoming cars and turned to the right of every corner that she runs into.

She was supposed to be going to school after accompanying her mom for a doctor's appointment in the morning but that seemed to have been canceled as she was chased to the worm's hole by these assholes.

She turned her head to the side to peek and they were still in the line of her eyesight, throwing unfamiliar objects towards her way that she barely missed by a step. She was starting to run out of breath, she prayed to God that they wouldn't be able to catch up with her in time or she'd be dead meat. Yuna had no idea where she was going but she was sure as hell that she's already on the other side of the neighborhood where it was quieter and empty.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck," She hissed under her breath when she accidentally tripped over a small rock, it was slowing her down and she knew she had no time to waste.
