A few days had passed after Yuna's street chase. Yuna had been talking to Ryujin on the phone often, the reason for that is because Ryujin wants constant updates from her throughout the days of her medical leave. Yuna wasn't complaining though, she enjoyed talking to Ryujin, it definitely helped her with her loneliness.

Yeji found out about what happened and had bombarded a bunch of texts to Yuna, even to the point of driving over to Ryujin's in between her classes to make sure the girl was okay. They ended up going to the hospital together hence why Yuna had to take a few days off. She wanted to just attend school with her sprained ankle, insisting that it was fine but Yeji and Ryujin wasn't having it.

"Hey, Yuna, you should hurry up! Yeji's waiting outside to send you to school." Yuna's sister, Hyejeong informed from the other side of the door as Yuna had just slung the straps of her bag over her shoulders.

"Okay unnie! I'll be right with her." Yuna took the last chance to fix her appearance  and make sure that she had everything with her. Not forgetting to do a simple ankle exercise although it had healed but nothing is wrong with keeping it in check.

She stepped outside of her room and dashed down the stairs, phone clutched tightly in between her fingers and palm and was greeted by her family by the dining table along with Yeji.

"Hey, sport. Have some breakfast before you leave." Her dad warmly greeted, patting the empty space beside him.

"Where's mom?" Yuna asked, slipping into her seat as she faced Yeji who had a bright smile plastered on her face, she swore the room suddenly felt hot.

"She had to leave for work earlier than usual. Now, eat before you're late to school." Yuna shot a secretive look towards the girl in front of her, only to notice she'd been staring. Yeji was going to be the death of her.

She quietly stuffed all of the food into her mouth while avoiding Yeji's sneaky gazes, the silence wasn't uncomfortable but there was tension in the air. She wasn't too sure if it's because her mom isn't there or if it's because of the way Yeji is acting.

As she took the last bite of her breakfast, her phone rung indicating that she received a message. It must've been from Ryujin so she took her phone to reply to the girl.

"Yuna? Are you okay?" Hyejeong worriedly asked as Yuna had her back hunched over the table, trying to soften her coughs. Her dad started to pat her back and she quickly grabbed her glass of apple juice, chugging it down to stop her from choking.

Yeji had a weird and questioning look on her face that Yuna caught on but before she could say anything, Hyejeong had interrupted.

"Maybe you guys could get going now." Yeji glanced to her wristwatch and clasped her hands together, "Thank you for the meal, I really appreciated it." Hyejeong waved it off with a smile on her face, she was fond of Yeji. Who isn't? She's a girl with manners.

Yuna got up from her seat and took her bag from the floor, kissing her dad and sister's cheek like she always does every morning and muttered a shy, "See you tonight." to the both of them.

They quickly hopped into Yeji's car and went off to school. The silence that engulfed them was unbearable as Yuna started to pick on her lips anxiously, she doesn't know why she felt that way but maybe it's because she's next to her crush.

"So," Yeji spoke up, making the girl whip her head towards the older girl, "You're bonding with Ryujin?"

Right. Of course. Yuna thought, she knew it was coming sooner or later so it'd be better if she just said the truth. Right?

"Um, yeah, we get along really well-"

"You shouldn't get too close to her." Yeji said flatly, her gaze focused on the road but her hands were noticeably gripping very tight onto the steering wheel that her knuckles were starting to turn white. Yuna was confused as to why the sudden change in tone and behaviour. What did Ryujin even do?

"She's not who you want to mess with." For some reason, hearing that really got Yuna jumping onto the defensive side.

"As far as I know, you don't own me." Yuna rolled her eyes and turned her body away from Yeji, looking out of the window of the moving car. Yeji glanced at the girl as they stopped at the red light and sighed. She reached her hand out to rest it on Yuna's thigh but she was swatted away.

"Yuna..." She ignored the older girl and kept quiet. It suddenly felt really uncomfortable for her to even breathe the same air as the older girl especially with the sudden touches that a girl would only do to her girlfriend. Yeji was acting even more weird, much to her dismay.

"Yuna, please-"

"No."

"I just want to take care of you!" Yeji angrily slammed her foot onto the brake pedals, the sound of screeching tires alarmed the students who were about to enter the school campus and it had garnered more attention as they realized it was Yuna who was in the car.

"What the fuck, Hwang Yeji?!" Yuna screamed her lungs out. She was already pissed that Yeji was trying to control her life and even more pissed that Yeji almost killed them both. Maybe that was over-exaggerating but she's still pissed off nonetheless.

"Look, all I'm tryna do is take care of you like Hyejeong unnie had told me to so why can't you listen to me nicely?"

"Because I'm not yours! You do not own me and you will never own me!" Yuna shouted with tears blurring her vision, she took it as her cue to leave the car and just ditch school but she was held back by Yeji who had pulled her in for a kiss that she did not ask for.

When she realized what was happening, she pushed the older girl away, her eyes wide open and her mouth left hanging in shock.

"Y- You..."

"I- I did not mean to do that-"

"You have a fucking girlfriend, you stupid bitch!" Yuna landed her palm against Yeji's cheek, looking at her in disgust and finally getting out of the car only to see Ryujin standing by the side, shocked with what she saw as well.

Yuna didn't get the chance to say anything yet when Ryujin spoke up first,

"Get on the bike, I don't think today is a good day for you. I'll make it better."

She held out her extra helmet towards Yuna with a soft smile on her face as they both heard Yeji's car zoom past.

This was totally unexpected.
