You awake groggily a few hours later and check the alarm clock. 10:27 pm is what it read.
You smiled and got up, feeling refreshed. You brushed your hair and teeth, and got dressed. You went downstairs and packed a small purse full of the protein bars and energy drinks, along with a few other things like money, ID, etc.
You smiled and hummed to yourself as you left the house, locked the door behind you, and got in your car. "Sure is cold out tonight..." You said, turning on the car and turning on the heater. Your fleece jacket wasn't really helping.
You sit in the car for a minute and decide to start driving to your job. It was closer than the rest you'd seen in the newspaper, but it was still a ways away.

By the time you got there, your clock read 11:33 pm. "At least I'm not late," you said.
The place had an eerie feeling to it. Maybe because you were slightly paranoid and because it was nighttime, nearing midnight.
You pushed open the clear glass doors to see a brightly lit room and a man walking around, which gave you the idea he was pacing. When he heard the doors open he faced you and walked over.
"You must be the new security guard (F/N) (L/N), right?" He asked. You noticed he had black hair and sky blue eyes, which you thought were beautiful. He looked like he was suspicious of something, and his eyes kept slipping over as if he wanted to turn around.
"Yes! I'm so glad I got the job," you smiled.
He looked down. "Not for long..." He mumbled.
"What was that?"
"Oh, I said congratulations!" He faked a smile. "I might as well show you around."
You followed him to a small, dimly lit office with steel doors. "This is your work office. Sorry if its messy, I didn't have time to clean it," he said.
"It's fine, I can deal with it," you smiled.
He led you somewhere else. "This is the show stage," he said, gesturing to a huge stage hidden by a curtain. He led you up the stairs onto the stage and turned the lights on. You saw three animatronics sitting silently on the stage.
"These are the animatronics," he said, sounding more nervous. "This is Bonnie," he pointed to a lilac coloured bunny who was holding a guitar. He had red eyes and a red bow tie to match.
"This is Chica," he pointed to a yellow coloured chicken with lavender eyes. She was wearing a bib with the words "LETS EAT" inscribed on it and was staring straight ahead.
"And this is the main singer, Freddy," he swallowed nervously, and gestured to a brown bear with bright blue eyes. He was wearing a black top hat and was holding a silver wireless microphone, which you noticed was real.
"Um, that's about it. Just do not leave that office no matter what. Only leave when the 6 am bell rings to signal our shift is over. I mean it. I don't want the same thing happening again," he said as he quickly left the stage and you followed.
You didn't know what he meant but shrugged it off. "Alright, I won't. And thank you so much," you gave him a hug.
"I'm Mike by the way," he said, and smiled. You smiled back.
"Well, I'll be back tomorrow. See you then. Also, remember to conserve power. Don't waste it," he nodded and walked off.
"Bye, be careful home!" You said to him as he walked off and waved. As the glass doors shut behind him, you noted the time on a nearby clock. 11:56 pm. "Better get going," you hurried to the office.

When you got there, you realised there was a small note which explained how to use the cameras and doors, as well as door lights and telephone. You read it quickly and set it aside, nervously beginning your first night of five nights at Freddy's.
The 12 am bell rang, signalling the beginning of your shift. You used the cameras to check on the animatronics, as the note had told you to do so.
"Nothing weird yet..." You stated aloud, echoing in the nearly silent room. The only other sounds were the sound of the fan, and the door light when you turned it on.
You sat back in the comfy office chair, thinking about today. You eventually nodded off to sleep.

"HOLY SHIT," you screamed when you heard a very loud robotic screech. You slammed both doors shut, not knowing which direction it came from, and eventually saw the one who made it. What was her name again? Ah, yes, it was Chica.
You put a hand over your pounding heart and decided to check the cameras. Chica was by your right door, and Bonnie was in the party room, staring creepily ahead. "What the fuck?" You stated. You figured something bad would happen but kept trying to shrug off the feeling. You checked a camera you hadn't checked before, which was watching a place called Pirate Cove.
"There's another?" You sighed, seeing a fox-like animatronic staring creepily from the curtains. You sighed in defeat and opened both doors, seeing Chica was gone now.
"Looks like I missed the first phone call," you said, noting the time 2:15 am and how you'd fallen asleep earlier.
You were honestly a bit panicked. You knew the animatronics were trying to kill you, but you didn't know why. You thought back to earlier when Mike showed you the animatronics on stage. No wonder he'd wanted to get out of there so quickly.

You nearly screamed when you felt a hand around your mouth and tried to pry it off. But you couldn't.

"Don't worry dear, we would never hurt you. We just can't have any rule breakers around here," the voice said, making you cringe.

"Rule breaker...?"
