Not every girl is a princess wearing a crown.
Not every girl likes makeup and dresses.
Not every girl wears heels.
Some girls like a pair of jeans and a t-shirt.
Some girls like being a tomboy.

Just like me.
I'm that kind of girl who stays Friday nights under a car and not going to a party.
Unlike my best friend Maya, who is outgoing and likes to meet new people, I'm antisocial.

I had to leave everything behind and start something new.

I wasn't thinking that will change when I moved in Los Angeles together with my family and Maya's too.

I wasn't thinking that I will change when I meet him.
The one who changed my life.
For good.

"Hello, I see that you're searching for a mechanic. Is still available?"

"Of course. You can start whenever you want"

"Where's my mechanic?"
"I don't know and I don't care, but from now looks like I'm your mechanic"

"Girls like you shouldn't be in garage with cars"
"And boys like you should keep the mouth shut"

But the more I started to know him, the more something happened with me.
And I couldn't explain myself for the things that I have done.

"If you're so good at cars, modify my car"

"Why?"

"Because I want to"

The more that I saw him every day, the more I was falling for him.

"No Maya, I can't fall in love with him. He's a player"

"He's looking at you like you're his world"

"Have you seen yourself in a mirror when you talk about her?"

"No, why should I do that?"

"Because you should see that you're in love with her"

But I couldn't live with the fact that I have been lied so many years

"Is this a joke?"

But he was there, even if I wanted to be alone

"Alexis!"

"Leave me alone!"

"No! I'm staying"

He started to know me better

"Why cars?"

"Because they don't wake up next day and tell you 'I don't love you anymore' "
