Chapter 6 Truth

Daksh P.O.V.

With infinite thoughts running in my mind I got back to my cabin. Shreya and my secretary were not there, they must have returned to their works too.

"Shreya, in my office right now" I called Shreya on the company's phone.

"Yes sir, I'll be there in a minute"

I need to know what exactly happened with Mr. Saxena, now it's not about only this contract but also about Zen. He seems to become very attached to that woman.

Isn't it funny how in just a matter of few minutes, your perfect life becomes a roller coaster.

The knock on the door brought me back to reality.

"Come in" it must be Shreya.

The door opened and Shreya walked in the cabin. She was not looking at me. She is nervous, but why!! She is a very strong and confident woman. I know I can be very intimidating sometimes but Shreya was never being this nervous and anxious before.

I asked her to take a seat. She took a seat and opened her mouth to say something but didn't say anything.

Seems like I have to start a conversation.

"What exactly happened before, why that woman slapped Mr. Saxena" she took a deep breath, composed herself and then finally looked up at me.

"She was not wrong. She did the right thing by slapping him" and that reply made me more confused right now. I trust Shreya, if she is also saying the same thing, then now I'm damn sure that I had missed the major and important of this story.

"Don't beat around the bush Shreya, just tell me the complete story so I can understand what exactly is going on here!!" I asked a bit irritatingly this time.

"He...ummmm...He...was touching me inappropriately sir....and when you got the call and excused yourself to go out of the cabin, he....he grabbed my ass when he thinks no one is watching but Kiara saw and in an instant, she slapped him...and...."

"And what Shreya?"

"ummmm....this was not the first time sir.

WHAT THE FUCK. That bastard was doing such things with my staff. HOW DARE HE.

Yes, I knew he is a womaniser. But I thought he must know how to be professional. I was wrong, that bloody bastard actually dared to do such things with my staff in my cabin in my company, dammit.

"And you are telling me this now. Are you fucking mad Shreya? Why didn't you tell me this before!?" I shouted at her. I want to know what the hell was she thinking by not telling me this before. Does she think that damn contract was more important to me than the safety of my own staff?

And how stupid I can be to not notice this thing before. That asshole was doing these things in my presence and I had never noticed. I'm angry at myself more now than anyone else.

"Sir, I knew this contract was very important to you and you had worked so hard for this. I didn't want to ruin all your efforts. I thought if I bear with it a little more, then you will be able to get this deal. But he went too far today."

"No Shreya, you must have told me about these when he touched you the first time only. No contract is more important than the safety and self-respect of my employees. And you are one of my best employees, you are the asset of my company Shreya. Your safety is my responsibility." Yes, I'm a ruthless businessman and can be bastard sometimes but I never allow an outsider to harm my employees in any manner.

"Sorry sir, it was my mistake. I must have told you about this before. I'll remember it next time" she replied in a careful manner.

"But sir, about that girl Kiara. Sir, I apologise on her behalf but please don't fire her. She is hardworking and very good at her work" I let out a sigh.
