Your shoes were awesome
All shiny and bright
But you just saw me staring
Quietly
Probably thought it was your chair
It wasn't
It was your totally awesome shoes
Didn't even really notice the chair
Till you nearly rolled over my toes
But the words got lost
I didn't speak
Blanked out
But all you saw was a stranger staring
I'm sorry
But those shoes were awesome
