It is not a death sentence,
Or a proclamation of doom and gloom,
It just means your path has changed
You'll get to see different flowers bloom
You'll go over bridges
And through flooding creeks,
Sometimes the trail is tough
Sometimes it seems impossible
Like you aren't good enough,
Take a deep breath and let it out,
Look around and you'll see
Others on similar paths
They'll help you through,
It is not a death sentence
Or a proclamation of doom and gloom
Because although the trail is rocky
Awaiting is a spectacular view!
