Ch4 • Valerie's Matchmaking Service

•Operation: Skool sucks, but we need to suck it up, Mission: Shopping or Shopping

"School starts in Less than two weeks, you wanna go shopping or something?"

The weeks passed by in a flash, and now, it wasn't long before another school year's gonna start. The Unstoppable duo, Haechan and Valerie, were currently stuffing their mouths with ice cream on the counter island of Haechan's kitchen.

"Yeah, maybe we should, there's nothing much to do anyway" she agreed before shoving a tablespoon full of Mint chocolate chip.

The two conversed from time to time, while eating some ice cream. Until someone walked in to the kitchen, rather sassily.

"Good morning, little devils. What are we up to this time" Donghyuck's mom greeted as she came in, much fresher and less stressed than last time. She even sounds better than last time.

"We actually plan on shopping for school supplies, since classes start in two weeks" Haechan explained, shrugging. Mrs Lee let the information sink in before nodding.

"Well, I had my secretary come to your school the other day. So enrollment is off the list. I guess shopping really is the only thing left to do" she agreed.

"Really, gosh, thanks Mom. I didn't really want to pay on my own. I'd much rather not go to school, than have to face the accountant in the school office again" he said relieved, but shivering at the idea of the school's accountant. We don't want to talk about that right now. The two ladies laughed, understanding what he meant.

"Well, that's why I had it done for you" the eldest in the room chuckled. Then she remembered something.

"Oh right, the shopping. Don't worry, baby pudu, momma's gotcha covered" she reassured with a wink. I swear to God, Mrs Lee is one cool mom, Hyuck is hella lucky.

"I know you do, thanks momma!" He said playfully, and they all laughed.

"How bout you, Val? Did you get things done for school already?" Mrs Lee asked sweetly.

"Yeah, my moms went and payed last week" she said just as sweetly but also polite.

"Well, that's good. Oh, Now why don't you look at the time, I'm almost late. Just great. Have fun kids, don't do anything stupid" she said attempting to get her protein shake and make her leave, when Valerie stopped her.

"Wait, Mrs Lee!" She said, as the older halted with a questioning look. "What is it, dear?" The said woman asked. Valerie looked over at Haechan and muttered a soft 'Come out' , at first he didn't get it but then understood what she meant.

She's been trying to make him tell his mother, but Mrs Lee always seems to be busy and almost never at home anymore. So they never get the chance to do so.

Donghyuck was suddenly nervous, scared of what she'll think of him. But he trusted his mother, he knew how she was.

"This might not be the right time. But you're never really at home as much. But...Mom, I'm gay" he said carefully, looking down, and only looking up to see her reaction. The older woman merely laughed.

"Jesus, you nearly gave me a heart attack there. I thought it was something else. Oh honey, I've been knew. I know you had it in you" she said dropping her stuff and running to hug her son.
