Ch13 • Aftermath

•Operation: Wake the hell up, Bozos , Mission: Get to school

"Should we wake them up now or nah?"

It was Tuesday, and as predicted, everyone woke up with killer migraines, sore throats, massive hungovers, and so much worse. A typical Aftermath for every Ardent Party.

Jaemin, followed by Chenle, were one of the first few to wake up. After struggling out of bed with pounding heads and aching muscles, as first insinct, they rushed to the kitchen for some painkillers. They were met by Mark and Mina's mom, who was peacefully having her morning tea.

She was really nice, taking care of them and even making breakfast for everyone. Turns out,  mark throwing parties and such was already normal, so Mrs Lee learned to be more prepared every time. The two woke up the others, who were still oblivious to the pain they're yet to feel after waking up.

Eventually, they all woke up, and felt the same thing. Hell. But nothing like some Advil and hungover soup can't fix.

The last to be woken up were Mark, Valerie, and Donghyuck. The rest were surprised to see them all in the same room, let alone in the same bed. Shocked and confused. Especially in the position they were in. Which could be taken wrongly on so many different levels.

The Norenmin couple, who were responsible for waking them up, took pictures of them for blackmail instead of doing their actual task. And to make things all the more entertaining, they even called the three other girls and Chensung to see the scene. The more the merrier, Jaemin believed.

Last night, Haechan was placed in the middle. But for some unknown reason, Mark was now in the middle, shirtless.

Donghyuck was on his left side, hugging his waist tightly, as if his life was depending on it. He was shirtless too, but for some unknown reason yet again, he was only wearing some tight fitting boxers. What in the world?

While Valerie was still in her short and tight fitting sleeveless night dress (curse Mina for forcing her to wear it), with the silk robe nowhere to be found. She was also hugging mark tightly, an arm extending towards Haechan.

Their legs were all tangled together, as mark hugged them just as close. All three of them were dead asleep, even with the eight people losing their shit in the same room.

Jeno suddenly felt bad for taking pictures of them without their consent, even if it was really fun. So he asked his boyfriends if they should just wake them up as Mrs Lee told them.  Renjun thought for awhile, before approving. But Jaemin was quick to stop them from doing so.

"Wait, No! They'll kill us if they found out about the pictures! Knowing how Val can be, I don't wanna die early. Let's just leave them to wake up on their own" he whisper shouted at them, ushering everyone out the door, before anyone could get the chance to protest or complain.

Chenle came back not a second later, placing a few painkillers and water bottles on the bedside table, because he's a kind little angel. After doing so, he skipped out of the room, giggling at how funny the three looked, because he's an innocent lil bean. He closed the door louder than intended, which startled mark Abit.

The said teen moved a bit, groaning at the rush of pain invading his head all of a sudden. He squinted his eyes, adjusting to the bright room. After regaining his eyesight, he was about to sit up, when he felt something weighing him down.

The sight of Donghyuck and Valerie cuddling the lights out of him made his eyes bulge open, sleepiness or dizziness suddenly vanishing. His already flushing cheeks became even redder when he saw what position they were in, especially when he saw what they were wearing.
